Their customer service system is dreadful and terribly frustrating. No way of speaking to them on the phone, and their online help doesn't work if they don't recognise your name...even you write it exactly how it appears on all your tracking emails. Awful.

Would give 0 stars if it allowed. Had 2 parcels get lost and delayed, no response from Hermes, no customer service. Would never use them.

awful company! impossible to get hold of and they claim they deliver parcels but they are no where to be found. there was no picture included in my delivery and they claimed they delivered it through the letterbox, even though we are an office with someone on reception 24 hours and they never said a parcel showed up. you cannot call them, they don't respond on email, and they don't reply on live chat. NEVER want to use them again.

Ridiculous! There is nothing good to be said about this 'delivery' company. First I thought it was more to do with the person handling the area where I live and the problems which arose there. I have now changed to get all deliveries to my work, and I must say that packages handled by Hermes are constantly delayed or misplaced, the tracking is all over the place. They themselves don't know whether the package is out for delivery or going back to the vendor. No way of getting in touch with them to even enquire, but instead having to get the store to find out. I will in the future call and ask online vendors which delivery company they use and if the answer is Hermes, I will go elsewhere. Such a joke. Unreliable. Avoid. You will only be disappointed and frustrated. As I am.

Sent a parcel on the 12th December from London UK to Rep of Ireland, which had 8 of my friends and families Christmas presents in. It never arrived and I queried this, with great difficulty, they have a phone number (which none of the options actually work on). They have email addresses (which every one you use, they bounce back to say its not valid). It seems the only way to get in touch with them is through online chat, which is always scripted, 3 separate times I spoke to someone they had no idea how to help. Eventually they 'opened and investigation' on the 23rd of December. By the 28th I had an email to say this so called search they carried out was inconclusive and my parcel was deemed lost. Fast forward and to make a claim I must provide proof of collection (didn't receive anything from the courier who collected. Great!) proof of non delivery (which I was so tempted to take a picture of my family with sad faces at the Christmas tree because how do you prove something wasn't delivered??) and proof of value of the items in the box. Which I had a hard time getting as they were things I'd bought throughout the year and no longer had receipts! I've asked and asked them to do further searches and investigations because I believe it was stolen rather than lost because tell me how in this day and age does a tracked parcel just go missing?? Absolutely disgusted with this farce of a company, I don't know how they're not being investigated by watchdog for they're absolute dispicable way of doing business.

worst service I have ever seen! My parcels did not arrive since August 2019, one that arrived was destroyed, no one is answering to my emails with solutions! Ridiculous!!! Please don't use this service, I've been emailing them for 5 months, my belongings are gone, no one is helping, choose any other company!

According to their website my parcel has been delivered and signed for today. Cant see how when someone has been at home all day and it was signed for by a spider! Awful service, had this happen before.

Bunch of thieves... 2 out if last 3 parcels ' lost'....? How can you lose a parcel ? Industry term for stolen. Fed up of subsidizing their poorly paid staff with my expensive goods. Will never use these thieving scumbags again.. Also did you know all of our lovely ' lost' goods they sell at auction. If you sell on eBay, do not use Hermes to save your sellers reputation. Items get stuck in their depot forever or couriers sign off undelivered parcels (stolen by them?). As an eBay seller, you will get a bad feedback for late/non-delivery. If you have to, pay extra for a better courier. Worth it for a happy customer!

THIS PEOPLES DRIVER ARE MOSTLY THIEVES AND COMPANY ALSO DONT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS THEY CAN ONLY COVER UP TO £25 SO DONT USE THIS SERVICE INSTEAD US UPS OR DHL WHICH IS MORE TRUSTFUL THEN THIS THIEVES COMPANY

AVOID this delivery service, they are awful they always delay for another 24 hours without attempting delivery or they loose your parcel in transit. Absolutely appalling service. They don’t deserve to still be running. Will never use Hermes again!!!!

just a complete bunch of crooks. ive had fragile parcels thrown over a gate, parcels lost and then not compensated (their utterly abhorrent customer service will do anything to not pay out). Ive had parcels delivered to a completely different address and then me as a seller has to clear up the mess. ive had plenty of parcels where the courier has forged the signature and shoved it anywhere they feel like. how is this not fraud? it genuinely amazes me how companies as utterly disgusting as hermes are allowed to trade. are there no trading standards with couriers or are they allowed to just do as they please as they do now? i really really hope that one day myhermes gets shut down, utterly dreadful company they really are.

They change the delivery days very suddenly, which in some cases can be OK, but what is not OK is that they tell you 20 minutes in advance that they will be delivering shortly, giving their customers no chance what so ever to be there for the delivery. And, just today I received an email that my parcel had been delivered and signed for even though nobody was at home. Impossible to deliver to the wrong address as every street number is a house/flat. I am livid. It does not get anymore unprofessional than this, They have delivered my property to God knows who. Incredible!

Absolutely rubbish, tried to get an issue resolved but been chinned off. Not happy. This is the worst service I’ve ever used, I’ll never use them again. Not very helpful, no person to talk to only live chat which is a robot!! After a second time trying to get somewhere, I was chinned off with it hope your issue was resolved’ NO IT WAS NOT. Don’t use them , think again and use another service.

I have placed three orders since Christmas. One was returned because allegedly the package was damaged but the company I purchased from never received the return, the second was allegedly delivered to my address and signed for but I was in and this did not happen. The third was purchased two weeks ago and is yet to appear. I am £100 out of pocket. The absolute worst of it is that you cannot get in touch with the company!!!!

Ordered an item as it was needed for next day delivery. Local courier lied and said he had attempted delivery and no one was home; I was at home with 4 other people and no one had attempted delivery at all. I contacted the site that I had ordered from and found out he had said he couldn't deliver as the business was closed - My address is a home address so obviously he had been dishonest. I am now without the parcel that I desperately needed. Really really not impressed.

This is the worst WORST company I have ever come across. Fraudulently signs my signature despite the fact that I’m not in the country!!! Another occasion, lies and says the parcel is delivered (on my porch that doesn’t exist) then redelivers it to me the next day (what a nice courier to come back to my house to get the parcel again to redeliver the next day to a fake me, away and staying in a hotel at the time) but the best one was the courier writing on the scanner that there was an error with the signature portion despite being able to write on it stating there was an ‘HHT error’ in their own scrawl.. i had to laugh at the sheer stupidity of that one! Folks if you want to complain to them, go through Resolver... they are less inclined to ignore you that way and you can keep all communication for small claims...

Hermes driver chose to ignore my request of leaving it with my neighbour & now I am left without my parcel. Total joke of a service, this is not the first issue I’ve had with with Hermes.
