“NEVER USE. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery company. Absolute rubbish. At the end I didn't even received my parcel. If you want to contact them. Forget it, there is no way to speak with actual person so they can help with whatever enquiry you have. I tried a few numbers - no results, except in my bill. I was charged £12 for a 2 min call with automated answering service which leads to nowhere. Absolutely appalling service!”

“The parcel shop refused my package… The parcel shop refused to take my parcel as no Hermes collections were booked for several days (even though I had a confirmation email). I was sent away! Tried to contact Hermes through the wbsite, telephone, Twitter, Facebook - all take you back to a useless page "Before you contact us" help page - there is NO WAY TO CONTACT Hermes. £25 fraudulently taken as payment when my package was not collected. Avoid this horrible company.”

“DO NOT USE - this delivery company they are painful, I have ordered lots of things from Amazon and some of the companies use Hermes for delivery, the products just never turn up on time, they just keep sending messages to say there is a problem but no way of ever contacting anyone to speak to them.”

“Firstly courier never picked up my parcel even though I paid for that service. Then my parcel never got to its destination. Went missing. Then they have the cheek to take money out of my account even though I haven't sent another parcel. Company is an absolute joke I will not be using them again and will be taking matter further.”

“Waited in yesterday as advised my parcel would be delivered between 3pm to 7pm. No notification that there was a problem. 7pm - no parcel. Went onto site to track parcel - it stated at 4.15pm there was a problem with delivery and I needed to contact them to rectify this. Tried until 8.30pm to find some way of contacting them. No joy - the nearest I got was automated chat with "Donna" who was unable to help. I managed to determine myself that the problem was with the address - the sender had only put house number on and not the street. So then tried to get in touch with the sender of my parcel. Again, no easy way to contact other than to send a message by email, which will be responded to within 48 hours, possibly longer during busy periods. Managed to find a number eventually and tried telephoning Hermes this morning - only automated voice mail which I couldn't get past, then a message saying experiencing problems with the service and I was cut off. Then email and txt alert from Hermes saying my parcel was out with courier and would be delivered today between 1pm - 5pm. We shall see - again no street showing only house number!!! Communication is a very real problem here.”

“Hermes are the delivery company for Next which I order lots of things from and over the years they have just gone from bad to worse. Arrived home twice this week to find my bags of clothes thrown up the front door and on the path and as I live by a main road he might as well put up a flashing sign telling everyone I was out but then to make it worse I received an email to say I had signed for the parcels when I had been out all day and an actual copy of my illegally forged signature. If these items had been stolen which I am amazed they were not I would not have stood a chance of getting my money back. Disgusting. If I could have left them no stars I would have as that is what they deserve.”

“Literally one of the worst delivery service to have ever been brought into existence! Might have to report them to BBC watchdog! Complete bunch of liars and horse dropping inadequate couriers. Couriers are constantly lying about delivering parcels, endless rescheduling even with next day premium and no means to contact them!”

“Would give 0 stars if possible. Everytime they "deliver" a package its middle of the average work day mon-fri. I'm never going to be at those times but yet you can't delay the delivery to a time suitable to you. You can list a safe place and they ignore it. Or you can put your neighbour, well they all work so much of a muchness. Terrible service, happens everytime Hermes deal with a package. Yet I never have any other issues with any other delivery services. F#@king joke.”

“Terrible service. I paid for next working day delivery it is now 6 days later. I bought from Fraser’s and Espa. They do not deliver on time. The tracking tells you it will be delivered then doesn’t turn up and states they have problem with the address. Dishonest. Won’t be buying from Companies who use Hermes.”

“My last 5 deliveries have been delayed when I've waited in for them. It's the most last minute delays I've had with a courier. The previous delivery driver was great which is a shame.”

“There is no customer service ! Charged me for parcel twice, and Im spend few hours to trying contact them but for me is looks like impossible. I don’t want to spend All day for that. I just have to leave them £9 and few hours off my day off for nothing. Last time I send phone is get missing, I didn’t buy insurance on this I asked that 20£ (they giving that amount if no insurance) but nobody even answer my, so I left it like it is. Im not gonna cry for my 20£ Just think everything have to be more simple and fair I gave refund for phone buyer.”

“Dreadful booked collection from my house for last Sat, waited in all day no one came, difficult to speak to anyone, eventually on Monday spoke to live chat had a long wait even to do that, she told me parcel will be collected in 24 hours I said I don't want that I want to cancel I asked why no one came she said no one been assigned yet to collect it, but it was for last Saturday, she doesn't know why, I asked for money back will take a few days”

“Ordered some clothes from boohoo with next day deliver from Hermes. Paid 5.99 to get in the next day. It got delayed by a full day and then the next day they claimed it would be here between 5&7. Then that changed to 6&8. Then it was 9:00pm and still nowhere to be seen. I didn't even get an email telling me. Roll to today and the b*stards can't even be arsed to try and get it to me fast, they're saying it will be here between 4&6. That's probably gonna get pushed back too. Then it won't show up. Again. I am APPALLED by Hermes.”

“Expected 2 deliveries today and nada! Still waiting on one from a week ago! Myhermes used to be excellent a year or two ago but lately utter garbage. I cannot rely on them at all. I know the festive period is busy but issues with them started way before that: Such as paying for a pick up and its a no show. I will be using alternative providers from now on. Fecking disgrace!!”
