Hermes is without a doubt the worst courier experience I have ever had! It’s day 5 now that they have had my parcel and they are totally incompetent at delivering it. They didn’t leave my parcel with my neighbour when I was asked on the tracking if I would like to divert and request neighbour drop off instead. Why have that option if your useless delivery drivers are not going to do it!?? The following day I was then sent an SMS text & email at 6.45pm (so waited all day to then receive a message in the evening) to tell mr that they were going to deliver between 6pm & 9pm....but wait there, I received the email at 6.45pm and guess what I was out walking my dog, I rushed back to the house and no calling card or update email, so I thought good, they’ve not been round yet. I waited and waited and at 9.12pm I received another email to tell that they had tried to deliver at 7.10pm and no one was in!!! What a bloody joke. And the same thing has happened again today. I’m now going to call Probikekit and cancel my order and tell them explicitly why I’m cancelling my order. Because they’re using the most inefficient, unprofessional and most useless courier company I have ever dealt with. I wouldn’t even give you 1 star on this review but you have to select one and so it’s the lowest score I can give them. Utterly useless!!!

Do not use Hermes, they say that they attempted delivery when it's clear they hadn't even bothered Dont understand how company manages to keep going

Hi Hermes, thanks a lot for leaving my parcel out in front of my house on the doorstep in full view of anyone passing by, in the rain, when I wasn't in to receive it. This happens all the time and it has for years with your company, I don't know why you can't put something in place to stop this happening- how many complaints have you already received about this? I can only conclude that you couldn't care less. Good job, also, on having no facility on your website to make this complaint without having to call you on the phone at my own cost to be put on hold for who knows how long. So instead I'm posting this on every public review site I can find. Cheers!

Very slow delivery careless dont look after packages just total disapointment just aweful serivce would prefer them to close down would save a lot of packages

Do not use Hermes for anything other than clothing. Strong possibility it will be broken & Even if you selected insurance, theOr list of excluded items is very long, so you’ll be lucky to find you are covered for breakage. Beware

worst service. dropped off the parcel on 18th, 10 days now, still shows in transit. no communication. cant call- only email. very bad response.

The item I sent through them arrived badly damaged. The recipient cut their hand on the item. My Hermes refuse to refund money for the item or even the postage costs. They said check out the list of goods exempt from compensation. I was appalled at how many aren’t covered. What is covered I am left wondering

I have paid for a mattress with a company which uses Hermes. What a disaster! I moved into a flat on 12th November and still have nowhere to sleep. There was a long delay because the mattress seems to have got lost, not Hermes fault but now I'm not in the best mood after sleeping on the floor for a week. The mattress was received by Hermes on 27th November, it is now 29th November and they are still hanging on to it. I've tried phoning customer services which offers 3 choices then goes back to the original welcome message. So I searched for an email address, the email I sent cannot be delivered because the address doesn't exist. The item should be delivered today but apparently that isn't going to happen. My main reason for giving one star is that this company makes no effort for customers to contact them, and the tracking service is inadequate. It gives the impression that they just don't care at all.

Absolutely awful awful service. They constantly say my road is 'inaccessible' but i have Amazon, DHL, ParcelForce, Yodel, every other courier under the sun manage it just fine. Ive never had problems with any other company delivering except Hermes. Drivers are lazy and liars. Theres absolutely no issue driving down my road nevermind walking! Theyre quite capable of posting a generic blank Hermes card but not deliver a parcel. Absolutely astonishing. Dont get me started on the customer service representative on the email and livechat. Useless.

I didn't know the company I ordered from was going to use myhermes and if I hadn't i wouldn't have bought from them. We have a new driver in our area who has decided we live too far away to bother delivering too, so says we weren't in (even though we have a safe place) and then lies saying restricted access. Tracking says contact them but of course you can't contact them, so still waiting for the endless sorry theres a delay with your parcel loop to finish...seller is refusing to send another out via another method. Dont buy anything online from anyone using myhermes over xmas, you won't get it!! Absolute rubbish.

What a waste of time my Hermes are not worth 1* they have messed up 2 parcel delivery's ,courier dumps parcel ,forges signature,if you try to contact by phone you can't ,if you tap in your tracking number a voice says thank you goodbye,??? I now find only way to avoid my Hermes is to check when shopping online ,if they use this incompetent delivery lot,if they do I WONT BUY FROM THEM .I'm still missing 2 parcels and expect the coy I bought from to refund me.

Utterly woeful. 3 parcels simply dumped at a neighbours and a parcel i needed delivered by today has been wallowing in the local depot since 10am on 25th Nov. It's now 6pm on 28th Nov. I am now going to ask retailers if they use Hermes. If yes then I will shop elsewhere. Dreadful service.

Hermes is an awful delivery service. They ignore your requests on where to leave packages, put false information in their delivery notes, and there is no customer service support at all to resolve these issues. Happened twice to me. I ended up walking up and down my road asking if anyone had my package first time! Second time, luckily amazon was really kind and refunded for me. No accountability from Hermes, poorly training delivery personnel and potentially dishonest? No option to even send in a complaint to them. Really poor experience.

Two times they attempted to deliver a parcel. Waited in both times and always got "we are having difficulty getting to the address" when the courier has been supplied with my mobile phone number and code to get into the apartments. Absolute joke of a courier service.

I was expecting get my delivery today and waiting them and į got message saying they was at my doors but nobody show up and then į late to work because it was important parcel. But they just lie. Discusting service

My father nearly received a parcel. The parcel was put in a blue bin and taken away by the binmen. The reference is an 8 number reference which Hermes do not recognise. We do not know who sent the parcel.

Hermes customer service is awful. They don't like delivering to us as we live down a gravel road. The problem is that we often don't know that a retailer is going to use Hermes, then they hold on to the package, sometimes for up to 2 weeks, repeatedly promising they will deliver it and then saying it's delayed. We have had several parcels that just went "missing" and were written off by retailers. Despite sending several emails to Hermes they have refused to do anything about it, we can't even get deliveries for our address redirected to a collection. Hermes are yet to answer any of my questions about why parcels go missing or provide any reasonable way forward.

Got told my parcel was delayed and it would be on the move in 24 hours. 3 days later I heard nothing so got in touch with the retailer who told me Hermes had lost my parcel! No apology or anything. No one would have told me it had been lost until I had asked! Ordered another parcel from a different retailer this week and the same has happened again. Hermes are a joke and should be shut down - horrible company.
