Wouldn't even give one star. Worlds worst courier ever. Leave your parcels on the street outside your house when no one's in. Ordered and paid for next day delivery specifically so I would be home. Order didn't turn up for 3 days and when it did, was left on the street. Absolutely atrocious, never buy from anywhere that use Hermes as a courier.

Constantly late delivering parcels, not just by a few hours but most the time you pay for next day and they say they couldn’t and deliver a day later. They constantly fake signatures so they don’t have to knock on your door. They’ve delivered to the wrong address multiple times. Company couldn’t give a toss as long as they get paid. Useless

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I ordered from Sports Direct a pair of trainers as a Christmas present for my son on the 18th of December - delivery is through Hermes. On the 23rd Dec, I received a confirmation email from Hermes saying it had been delivered to the Hermes drop off location (shop). I went in and nothing there. I went in the next day and nothing. At 5pm, I had no choice on 24th Dec to go into a local Sports Direct and buy a pair of trainers. I emailed Hermes CEO on 26th Dec regarding the disastrous lack of delivery. I got passed onto 7 different CEO team members and no resolution other than yes they admit that the delivery was late (eventually delivered on 27th Dec) but that they don't hold themselves responsible and won't give me a refund of the delivery charges. Can't believe in the 21st century, they can't be bothered to resolve the issue. They are the only company I know who gives you a different advisor (so you end up having to explain the situation all over again) every time and conflicting responses and still no resolution. For a delivery charge of £5.99 - I can't believe the wasted time they have spent on this rather than just arranging a refund straight away. Don't bother using Hermes - they provide a 3rd world delivery service - avoid, avoid!!!

Hermes left a card on Friday indicating next day delivery of a parcel from the Netherlands. I waited in all day Saturday - no parcel arrived. The Hermes web site now claims the parcel was delivered on Saturday. This claim is false. I suspect the parcel has been stolen. I have had repeated bad experiences with Hermes at this address.

They continue to lie about attempting to deliver when you been waiting for hours at home. This us my second time I am ordering from Myprotein who use Hermes. Both times it took weeks before I got my delivery. Each time they lie about making attempted delivery. Each time I had ti complain on many occasions to get my delivery. Never again will I order from Myprotein until they stop using Hermes.

OMG! Useless company which don't give a damn about customers and customer's needs. I've neved used them to send my parcels but they screw up every single delivery I was expecting from online shopping. They left me look stupid over X-mas in front of my partner as they didn't bother to maks sure parcel is delivered. Courier left pathetic note that my parcel is in my "back shed" when I live in blocks of flats!!!!! No sheds here! Useless, pathetic company!

It may well be that the service I get henceforth will be fine, BUT, can I say that when I dropped off my parcel today at Davidsons Garage, Townhead, Penrith, the lady who accepted it was, to put it bluntly, less than helpful, almost rude, with a total lack of communication. Her attitude seemed to be one of "why are you bothering me" ?. She spoke to me only twice and on neither occasion could I hear what she said. Pathetic. I hope the delivery service is'nt as bad.

Some people are missing the point here. It is the responsibility of the sender not the recipient to sort out the undelivered parcel. They not you should refund you for lost or stolen items. It is upto the sender to make a claim. Mine has been lost or stolen and I am chasing the sender for refund as it was they who decided to use a sub standard company such as hermes. It is not upto me to spend money using the phone and time chasing .

Can hardly deliver within the given timeframes. Recurring updates on parcels notifications as drivers cannot ‘access’ the property when no attempts was initially made. No reply from customer care, can hardly speak to a real person to get down to the bottom of the problem. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Shocking. Delivery driver took a photo as 'proof of delivery' and then didn't leave the item.. I was in all day, and never got a knock at the door. The picture of 'proof' was at my front door, and as soon as the parcel was marked as 'delivered' I checked the door. Nothing there. Awful service and you can get hold of hermes just some awful automated service.

I'm writing this review because I am unhappy with the service provided. I paid £8 postage for a parcel to be delivered to my address. The delivery driver wasn't able to deliver (as I was in work) my issue is that the parcel ticket left provided no information and wasn't filled in at all. The only thing written on the parcel was today's date. No contact number or name of the driver to arrange a second delivery date. I called customer service to which I was hung up twice. On the 3rd call. I was simply told by an automated response thay my issue would be solved using their website. And then disconnected. I called a 4th time which I entered in different digits to speak to a different department. I was then asked to type in my barcode which was on the parcel slip. Upon typing the 8 digits in (correctly) I was told there was an issue and again disconnected (4th time) Went o to Google and found a website where I was able to speak to Someone (via a chat board on hermes website) Where I was told that they would Deliver it the following day But was unable to give me any information about a specific time and was told it'll be between 9an and 8pm! I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!!

If I could put big 0 star I would. This is what happened. I sent a parcel to an Ebay buyer with Hermes which I was informed by email, had been delivered on 3/1/20. My buyer enquired about the parcel and I forwarded the evidence of a signature, a wiggly thing rather than a signature, which Hermes calls 'proof of delivery'. Like most of the 2500+ people who wrote a similar review, the parcel was not delivered, not signed for by my buyer, whom I respect for their moral values, after discussing with him/her before the non delivery ensued by the forged signature. We are flabbergasted that Hermes, reading these reviews and receiving complaints about their mob couriers, do not do anything about it. They do not care about their reputation, and do not have any concern about people who are robbed of their belongings. This is a criminal action, and Hermes, being the employer of these couriers, are responsible for their action. The least they could do is to investigate, but NO, over 2500 reviews later, they are dismissing the claims of 2500 people. That is not oblivion, that's deliberate cooperation with the robbers. I am coming to the conclusion that this is a perk Hermes offers their couriers, that they can keep a certain amount of parcels per year, at random, in exchange for cheap labour? An acquaintance working for Trading Standards is helping me to file a case against Hermes. They should ensure that this kind of behaviour is stopped immediately and there are a few options they can look at, such as taking a picture of the recipient whilst signing for the parcel. This information would be filed bearing in mind the Data Protection Act, and would be available only to the recipient should a complaint of non delivery be made. The other option would be that the sender of the parcel receives an identification code when booking a parcel online, which is communicated to the recipient, who will be required to enter the code with his/her signature upon delivery. Since the courier is not aware of the code, should he forge the signature, he will not be able to enter the code. The first solution may be invasive to some, yet efficient and protective, the second is also ideal but of course involves communicating with the recipient who may have lost the code or other reasons. Or third solution, when a parcel is booked, a password should be entered during the booking in a box, which will be coded in the courier's reader, and recognised when the signature is applied. In the meantime, this is not so. If Hermes does not refund me, I am taking action in the Magistrates Court small claims and on top of my refund, will ask for a compensation for the time spent on this case. I dealt with it since 2/1/20, we are now 3/1 1.02am, and I have just finished (for today), dealing with this situation. My claim will be the number of hours I have spent at the minimum wage per hour for the over 35y.o. Sofar I have 24 hours to invoice Hermes. And they will pay my legal fees in addition. Perhaps if all of us did this, Hermes will learn not to abuse and address their customers sarcastically as they do. I will teach them that at my address, this does not happen. The court fee is £35 so, people WAKE UP, IT IS WORTH PURSUING THE DRAGON AND SLAY IT.

Seems like myHermes drivers see Xmas as easy free pickings to steal packages then sign forged signatures saying package successfully delivered My £200 worth of clothing now probably been worn by the driver or if he genuinely did deliver to a wrong address Hermes employ idiots but I doubt he did they are in is house or sold on for cash I got a email saying my delivery was with Hermes and due for delivery between 11am and 1pm at 1.47pm I got a email saying successfully delivered and signed for They never delivered nothing well not to me or signed by me probably saw a big bag with 3 shoe boxes and thought that’s coming with me I’ve reported this to jd sports and will see there outcome Like other complaints Hermes have no phone contact just a stupid robot called holly I did try again today and got what I think was a real person on chat On Hermes chat and I asked for gps tracking of there driver at the time of delivery ,maybe he stupid enough not to been even on my road when he sent the delivered message, but we will see if they try and wriggle out of providing there tracking of there driver even though they said they have tracking I will take jd sports to small claims court if need be as this happening to many others they contracted these cowboys and they should take full responsibility Not much good to me as items are now not available I won’t be using online delivery to my home anymore where Hermes is involved I’d rather have it delivered to a drop off point and picked up Ps look at the ridiculous signature they put might as well stuck put a X on it The sooner they are out of business the better or sort there drivers out with accountability and legal action for theft

Absolutely the worst courier company ever! I ordered something online. I received notes there wasnt safe place to leave a parcel. I thought -no big deal- will leave a comment to leave it behind a bin and will be sorted. But NOT FOR HERMES!!!!! i went to the website and..... I couldn't leave a note, I could only choose one of the options and nothing was good for me- don't have a garden, don't have a shed, don't have a greenhouse. So i thought ok it is still ok i can ask to leave with neighbour - there was possibility. And then what??? I could ONLY CHOOSEaddress I couldn't leave information where should be left. My neighbour who is at home all the time lives opposite site of the street BUT : I live in 140 and opposite site is 175. Guess what were the house nimbers to choose? The highest one was 160!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really????? And now if i wont be at home the third time they will send it back to sender. So i wont have my parcel. Why??? Because they cant leave it in collect store because home delivery has been choosen Really???? This is the firt courier company who doesnt even try to help customers. I trully not recommended them! How come i canno even call them to speak with someone? No options at all!!!! Stay away from them!!!!!!!!!!
