They deserve a zero star rating. I was notified of a 13:00-15:00 slot which was put back to 15:00-17:00. At 19:12 I received notification that the parcel had been delivered and signed for. I don’t know where it was delivered to, or who signed for it, but it wasn’t me. As their system says it has been delivered, there is no way to complain and inform them that it hasn’t. No possible way to talk to a human. Aaaaaaagh.

Why do companies continue to use this useless delivery company. I can only imagine it’s because they are cheap. I requested my parcel was to be delivered to my neighbour who is retired and at home all day. They decided to leave in my porch for the whole world to see. They didn’t even try to hide it. This is not the first time this has happened. So not impressed.

Waited in for a delivery said it would be between 8am-11am Then said 11am-2pm.. then received email saying I asked for it too be returned. Phone tracking information said “ unforeseen circumstances they were unable to make delivery.. I did not ask for it to be returned.. I waited in all day ..then other emails said they tried to make delivery 3 times after the email said I requested return of item. Contacted the retailer who I bought item off to let them know what’s going on . Obviously my local courier went to the wrong address.. shocking delivery service and taking ages for parcel to arrive . To which the retailer is using a different company now to get the parcel I requested in the first place

If I could give Hermes no stars I would. They are dishonest and completely useless. 3 days ago they said our parcel was too big, yesterday they said they had “ an issue “ which prevented them delivering the parcel, today they again said they had an issue and told John Lewis that our house was inaccessible! This is complete and utter nonsense. We had a delivery today from UPS, last week oil was delivered, the post came this morning, during term time the school bus passes our house and friends and neighbours manage to find us. The house has been here for 500 years it’s a quiet country road not a cart track! I think the driver was just too lazy to look. John Lewis have done everything they possibly can to help and are now sending the package with an alternative courier, at their expense. NEVER use Hermes, they’re hopeless.

paid hermes £6.99 to collect & deliver parcel, 2/1/20 had email from hermes they would collect parcel that day, they came 6/1/20, because they did not collect parcel i had to send it by royal mail which i should have done in the first place, i am surprised that martin lewis site mse.com recommends hermes they should have another look at this company, there is no way to contact hermes by phone or email for them customer service does not exist, i am still owed £6.99, in future when i order anything on the internet i will ask seller if they send by hermes if they say they do then i will not order from them. i would not have given them 1 star but had to to write this review.

Why does anyone use Hermes, they must be one of the worst companies ever. Hermes were supposed to deliver my order from John Lewis and I’ve waited in for three days and still no parcel. The first day Hermes said that ‘the parcel was too big’ ( it is a box of children’s Lego) and had to be delivered by a specialist courier. The second day delivery was promised but nothing arrived-and no phone call or email. There was a message on the website saying ‘your courier had an issue getting to the delivery address’, whatever that means. The same message appeared on the third day. I tried to phone Hermes but, after being on the phone for almost a hour, I couldn’t speak to a real person and the chat line said that the parcel had been delivered but didn’t know the location. I contacted John Lewis who were very helpful and are sending a replacement by next day delivery, by a different carrier. Hermes told John Lewis that our house was ‘inaccessible’ which is not true, we had another delivery by UPS today of an order placed with Amazon two days ago, we also had a heating oil delivery last week and there are no road works anywhere near our house with traffic moving normally. I suspect that the Hermes courier just couldn’t be bothered. Not a good advert for the company. The house has been here 500 years and we’ve been here 30+ years and have never ever had anyone refuse to deliver anything. It’s a country road used by cars, the school bus, tractors, delivery men, anything with wheels, so definitely NOT inaccessible!

Superdry jacket arrived at Hermes depot early morning 31 December and we’re still waiting for it to be delivered today 7 January. No way to contact them as recorded message on ansaphone cites technical issues and ‘remote Holly’ is not working. Rubbish service.

Lost a return parcel and it is impossible to get help from them. All the customer service numbers either lead you to automated services which don't work or refer you to the website and then hang up. Live chat doesn't work, depot won't answer the door and the drivers can't help. It's not even shockingly poor service, it's no service. Retailers - please stop using them!!!!

Didn't come frist day so waited in for nothing. Second day refused to give me a receipt for a parcel I am returning to Zalando, so I would have no proof it was picked up. I told him I had to have a receipt he just said I didn't and walked off without parcel. Called Zalando and they said of course I had to have a reciept from him. Now I have to stay in another day tomorrow. Hermes don't take live calls so cannot report or complain. Worst company ever. Avoid this compony like the plague.

Liars and incompetent. Everything delivered by this company is a hassle. They throw things over the gate, say they have delivered when they haven't and have broken items in the past too. WORST delivery company ever. Avoid at all costs!

I sent a parcel at the beginning of November 2019 to someone and received it back 6th Jan 2020, My label had been ripped off and myhermes had put their own label on with the customers name but my address. Spent 90 minutes on 'chat' trying to sort this out to be told the address I sent it to was wrong. It was NOT. I checked with the customer. No resolution given,. So I have written to the CEO. At this point I either have to refund the customer and lose money or send again with another company and lose money. Either way I LOSE. I have used them over the years but last year something has happened with them and it's now almost impossible to sort issues out with them. Thanks MYHERMES. You have lost a loyal customer.

Again, Hermes website is saying there is a delay with my parcel despite it being due by midday today- still not arrived and no updates since 11:30am. Unsurprisingly really for Hermes at this point- the website I bought my item from is showing an update as items delivered. Hermes - thieving, deceitful and should be wound up. Not fit for purpose.

Just when I thought MyHermes couldn’t get worse they find a new way to surprise me. Not only did the driver not knock or ring the doorbell, he/she decided to forge my signature and leave my parcel on my door step. Luckily I was home and found it in time. WORSE DELIVERY COMPANY!!!

The constant lies of a person not being at home to receive a delivery. We’ve been expecting delivery from Hermes since Saturday - apparently no one was home but as incorrect as Hermes are they didn’t even knock on my door to deliver my parcel. You guys are beyond silly at this point. Imbeciles

I tried to send a parcel from the parcel shop, the label failed to print but I was still charged £6.50 It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact Hermes despite many attempts and much time wasted. Very frustrating service!

Absolutely appalling company. Picked my parcel up two days late for a 48 hour delivery. My customer contacted me about two weeks later asking where his parcel was. Eventually managed to speak to Hermes who said the parcel was lost and to make a claim. I started the claim process and was then advised they had found my parcel and it would be delivered. My customer made further contact to tell me he had a parcel delivered but it was a small toy and kids pyjamas, not the land rover towball I had sent him. If you need to speak to Hermes I wish you luck!! Just about impossible to get hold of and pretty useless when you do manage to get hold of them. First and last time I will ever use them.
