By far the worst delivery company, this company do everything possible to avoid letting you speak to someone other than an automated line. I have dealt with this company 3 times ( not by choice) and every time its the same issue with none parcel being sent but no way to speak to anyone!!!! 7 parcels arrived yesterday from other companies but to no surprise my hermes didnt and not one human to speak to! Avoid at all costs

I wouldn’t even rate them 1, I ordered some bits for Xmas which came yesterday.. but I never got them because the driver delivered my items but he left them on the door step, I live in a terraced house, with no front garden where hundreds of people walk past in not the nicest of areas and yeah they left my parcel on the door step, I wasn’t gonna be home for another 5 hours after they put it there as I was at work and the reason I know they left it on the doorstep is coz the driver took a picture of the box outside my front door and put it on the tracking info but I can’t understand why anyone would do that, but if common sense and respect for other peoples purchases would be nice. I’m fuming. Impossible to contact the company

Wanted to make a return, went online to hermes website and triedd to process the return and clicked pay now, nothing happened so did it again. £2.99 five times was taken out of my bank account (£14.95) and still no returns label. Contacted customer services which is automated, then emailed and sent proof of bank statements and had a reply to say that nothing could be done until they had the purchase order number.... I do not have this as no return label was given and no confirmation email. If returning use royal mail, same price on this occasion and so much easier. I will avoid hermes at all costs in future!!

As soon as I got a message saying that they were going to attempt delivery today while no one was home I submitted a request for them to come back the next day if no one answered the door. Submitted this request three times just to make sure they got the message, all times I received a ‘thanks for your request we’ll pass it along to the driver’. 1 hour later I get a message saying they’ve successfully left the parcel by the door... thanks for leaving a £200 parcel in full view of anybody who walks by

Absolutely useless, almost EVERY time. How Hermes is even still in business is beyond me. You can't actually speak to anyone when you have an issue, like packages being delivered to the wrong depot like mine were this week... they just refer you back to the retailer. One or two mistakes you can understand but this is so often I actually dread it when I see something's being delivered by Hermes as it might never arrive. The fact that the business is set up so that you can't actually contact a human being says it all. THREE parcels have not been delivered by you this week. Just stop trading now please.

It is honestly painful to rate them a 1 star as I would much rather rate them 0!! The easiest thing to do is to deliver to a business which has the company name across the outside which not even a blind person could miss however according to the customer service manger it is possible. These guys cannot even get in touch with their own courier staff and don't even have the correct number which is ridiculous. How can you employ someone without having all their details. These guys are nothing but cowboys and if I could shut them down I would do so in a heartbeat. Spacial mention goes to Ian ( customer service manager ) who is of no help at all. The poorest customer service I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing and yet he is the manager. If you can avoid them I would suggest you do so as they are of no help what so ever. Thank you so much for the rudeness and POOR performance provided.

I have blatantly been lied too. It says on the Hermes web site that their was adifficulty accessing the address how. I live on a small street about 50 metres long that comes off a main (A) road that articulated lorries use on a daily basis. the web site says that they left a card that's a lie I was not only in all morning but at the time they said they cam I was stood outside at my own vehicle. Impossible to speak gto anyone, my guess is because they cant tell lies as good over the phone. Absolutely the worst service ever.

Awful awful since you changed drivers. I have loved you for years Hermes. But this week you have made me so disappointed. I was due a parcel Monday fine I forgave it not getting there but It's Friday apparently I had an attempt yesterday but driver couldn't get here then it's Friday I'm waiting again no one comes I check my tracking and it says AGAIN the driver cannot get to my home? I live in a flat that has two entrances and no one was blocking any road. It's disgusting you can't speak to anyone but live chat and they were not helpful at all I just got told to wait 3 DAYS for the next delivery attempt! After I paid £6 for next day. Disgraceful service that has let me down I use you multiple times a month for years and this is how your delivery driver treats me, he couldnt even give a reason why he can't make it to me and you won't give me a number to speak to someone. So let down never want to use your company again.

Appalling company and appalling service. Waited in for 2 full days after they said they had tried to deliver our goods on day 1. What they didn’t know was we have security cameras all around the house and not only did they fail to deliver they never came onto my property on either day. In future I will check to see the delivery company the sellers use and if they use Hermes I will look elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs. With the negative reviews I don’t know how this abysmal Company stays in business.

Giving them 1 star is a star too many. I echo the comments below; it is utterly impossible to have any communication with Hermes. Their "web contact form" just sends you to a list of pages you have to follow which invariably end up with "you need to contact your retailer". The online chat facility is with a retarded computer which just sends you round in circles. I entered a complaint on www.complaint.resolver.co.uk and within 2 days I got an email from Hermes today saying they had delivered the parcel (after being stuck in their "regional depot" for 2 weeks) and that it had been signed for. Not so. At least, not at my address. So reading the comments below I'm inclined to think they made it up. They are by a country mile the worst company it has ever been my misfortune to deal with, and I advise anyone to avoid them like the plague.

They claim they delivered my parcel however the gps is nowhere near my address and signature forged. They are unhelpful when you query as you dont get to speak with anyone. They must be stealing packages as this has happened twice to me since 8th December. So disappointing that so many retailers use thier services.

This company is a complete joke. Delivering parcel to random addresses with random signatures. You cant speak with anyone and the online chat is a waste of time. The customer service just refer you back to retailer who repeat. You then have the hassle of complaining to your bank to get your money back after 15 days.

This cowboy company is disgusting!!! I ordered from JD and I waited in all day for Hermes to deliver my parcel. I got an email from them saying it had been delivered that day at 3 35pm. What a joke! Been trying since Wednesday to speak to someone I've actually phone 127 times and my last call I was on hold for an hour and 10 minutes. They drivers are just thieves and the whole company wants shutting down. Worst customer experience I've ever had!!!

lying lazy driver again Twice now the collecting driver has not turned up, lying, I had to stay in 8am to 8pm. His first comment was “unable to collect” the next day was the same appalling service. I had urgent shopping to do so at 3pm took my parcel to the local drop off shop. The driver put a comment up saying at 3.35pm the parcel was not suitable for collection! It had already been booked in at the shop before this time, lying driver again!! I asked for a refund after paying for collection and having to take it to the drop off shop, I was given a miserly 24p! They have one more parcel to collect from me today, let’s see what happens now - the parcel is on the doorstep with a big notice on the door saying ‘Hermes driver please make sure you take this parcel’! There will again be cctv proof if he doesn’t turn up today.

Supposed to deliver my parcel today but apparently it is too big. I checked size with the sender: it’s 150x22x28 cm. What are you using Hermes? A fleet of Nissan Micras? Start contracting to people with vans so you can actually provide the 48h delivery service you charge people for!! Impossible to talk to “customer service” - they cite GDPR and send you back to the shipper.
