How are Hermes still trading? Worst delivery company around, always issues with deliveries. Website awful, no obvious way to contact the company. Ordered Christmas presents and heart sank when Hermes was the courier, lo and behold have a card saying delivery attempted when I was in, delivery driver must have been a ninja!

Hermes lied about delivering my parcel, nothing was delivered and they faked the signature for the package pretending to be me! worst company ever and the customer services I have had to go through to fix this is ridiculous, worst company ever, don't bother sending parcels by Hermes!

I have had six or seven abortive delivery attempts, very similar to those mentioned below. When the parcel had been cancelled, it turned up twice! One of the delivery drivers used foul language. I have kept the supplier informed throughout, but have only spoken to their customer services once and have not received replies to my emails. I shall not use the supplier nor Hermes again. Atrocious!

Apparently they have attempted to deliver my parcel 3 times but IT couldn’t be delivered because the “business” was closed, I live in a residential area, Absolute joke, fraudulent, dishonest and deceitful Is all I have to say

What an absolute SHAMBLES, 2 weeks later and I’m still awaiting my sons Christmas present, apparently tried to deliver it 3 times but my CCTV says otherwise, these Hermes drivers are about at useful as a fart in a space suit £550 down the drain it looks like , will be driving to the Leeds head office to have a meeting with the CEO if I have to

Absolute joke. Ordered Christmas next day deliver. Not arrived but was told by tracking they had tried to deliver but I wasn't in! I'm suffering with flu so was definitely in.....then told it's been delivered but they cant tell me where!

I have been told by Hermes tracking system every day for a week they will deliver my parcel and each day they don’t deliver it, they just tell me there is an issue. I had the same issue a month ago when it took 6 weeks for a next day delivery to arrive. I will not use any retailer that uses Hermes couriers they should be investigated by the authorities

Hermes said they delivered my parcel and didn't! I think it would be easier to contact the queen than get hold of these fools! This is the 2nd time in 3 months they have said they have delivered a parcel for me and haven't. Says signed for and it's just a line!! How are they getting away with this?!

Two failed attempted deliveries that I had no notification of. Couldn't understand the issue until I realised that there was a slight issue with the postcode I had supplied. My fault. Couldn't get in touch with Hermes on the phone and waited half an hour to web chat only to be told that there was absolutely no way they could help change the last two letters of the postcode around. Woman I chatted with was very abrupt, unhelpful and rude. Told me I had to contact the supplier directly (who were extremely helpful and had to contact Hermes directly themselves to cancel the order). Had the same issue with parcel force (phone keeps autocorrecting the postcode) and they sorted it out within a matter of minutes (by contacting the courier depot directly while I was on the phone with them) of me phoning yet Hermes were completely unwilling to do anything to help. I was contemplating sending a parcel via Hermes for Christmas but glad I thought against it. Baffled as to why companies use them.

Delivery driver put on the site that he delivered my parcel but he signed himself and kept my parcel so I was left without parcel and no money back also no answer from customer service very dissatisfied

Utterly incompetent. Three days being told it will be delivered between 7-9pm, three days told there's a problem. Not had the foresight to tell me what the problem is, but hey, I'm only the customer. Why on earth a Company like John Lewis is dealing with these farcical clowns is beyond me. Congratulations Hermes, you've just lost John Lewis another customer.

Very poor delivery service. Made me stayed in doors all day just to never receive my parcel which was meant for delivery between 11am-1pm. Very poor.

Terrible service. Do not use. Parcel was 10 cm longer than maximum on website. Driver would not pick up and ran away from pick up point. Joke of a service. Avoid at all cost. Couldn’t cancel for refund.

Order placed with supplier on 5th December 2019 - Hermes Tracking reported parcel would be delivered between 5.p.m & 9.p.m. 9th Dec. same message on 10th Dec. and again on 11th Dec. on 12th Dec. Tracker reported "Courier has had in issue getting to the delivery address". Then they show Parcel Delivered and signed for!! This is untrue as Signature shown bears no resemblance to that of mine or my wife's!!. Sent a complaint as to the pure Fabrication of said delivery and Deceitful Act by there Courier - Response was VERY NEGATIVE, which seems to be HERMES attitude not only to me, but hundreds of their customers!! One doesn't need to be Sherlock Holmes or have a Degree in Criminal Law to realise what these Couriers are up too!!!

Third time I’ve had a problem waiting for a parcel delivered by Hermes. First time parcel didn’t arrive so contacted seller - they sent another via click and collect. Original parcel showed up two days after I’d collected the second attempt myself. Last time Hermes emailed to say parcel would arrive between 9 and 11a.m. By 12 I was worrying where parcel had got to having waited in. No-one to ask or complain to so complained to retailer again. Parcel showed up later in day - apparently ‘put through letterbox’ even though it was a coat! Courier didn’t bother to knock or ring doorbell. This time Hermes emailed to say parcel would arrive between 2 and 4 p.m. so heart sank when I found out it was Hermes....and again it hasn’t arrived. Message emailed to me at 4.15 saying courier could not find my address - on a main road in a city! Complained to different retailer this time to be told that the parcel was last tracked just round the corner from us and will, hopefully, be delivered in next 24 hours - which means waiting around again! And will it show up? The contact details for this company are impossible to find and when you ring customer services it just tells you what you already know - that your parcel is missing! There is no option to speak to a human being. Strangely the other delivery companies have no problems finding my address.... I can understand the odd problem occurring - one excuse was that the courier was ill and I can see that this can happen - but every time this company attempts to deliver???

This company is a complete joke. I sent a package on the 10th December 2019 for it to be with a client who had ordered it as a Christmas present for her husband, this was monogrammed and handmade ergo a one-off. On the 17th December the client contacted me asking if I could find out where the package was, according to the tracking it was in limbo and had last been scanned on the 12th December (5 days previously) and it said that it would be on its way within 24 hours, clearly not! After spending 60 minutes trying to get through and speaking with someone on webchat. The package was lost at the depot and someone would need to look for it, they would be back in touch via email within 48 hours. No email was forthcoming and a further hour was wasted waiting and talking to someone who said the package had been found even though the tracking information said otherwise. It was now at the national hub and we would have to wait another 2-3 working days for it to be delivered a request for the delivery to be expedited was ignored even though the error was with them. This conversation was also terminated before I was finished which I am utterly furious about, nothing was resolved in my mind. I now have to wait until Monday to see whether the package will be delivered. If it hasn't I have to remake the items and deliver them myself, something which I wasn't planning on doing on Christmas Eve. I am incredibly disappointed with a courier service who I have trusted with both business and personal packages. I will NEVER be using this comapny again.

I did not receive my parcel looked on tracking says it's been delivered and signed for not even my signature or the right name no customer service and cannot get in touch with them
