Failed to deliver once again, now put back to Monday if I'm lucky. Regretfully whenever I find the on-retailer is using Hermes I fear the worst and 9 out of 10 there is a problem. Great shame and their prices are very competitive, which maybe is the problem.

Useless. Lost a parcel I sent, after 2 weeks I had to give a refund. Now waiting for an email back, still nothing. There contact centre is digital and you can't be put through to a person. 27th of feb is was collected, now 13th march and no update! Never will I use these lot again.

Post it through them if you want to loose your parcel. Yes that's their business model and they make money by auctioning the lost stuff.

1. tracking goes from 5-7pm then 6-8 then7-9 then slight delay that means no delivery that day. Next day the same tracking appear. These repeats for 3-4 or even 5 days. Expect delays up to 5 days. Tracking robot on the phone or Live Chat robot only repeat same answer. No customer service no human being to talk to. The worst courier. Nothing can be done on the receiving end. Why are companies like Zara, TKmaxx still use Hermes? Yodel, DOD, Royal Mail are much more reliable. And they actually deliver your parcel when they say they’ll.

I would give this company no stars if I could waited in all day for a delivery and guess what it didn't turn up. And no explanation to what had happened I had to contacted Amazon to get to the bottom of it, they can't deliver till Tuesday and the parcel is less than 40 miles from me at there depot. I wish companies would stop using them this is not my first time and won't be my Last being let down.

Appalling service, Lack of communication and poor excuse of for a company. Made the mistake of posting an item as it was a couple of pounds cheaper than Royal Mail. The item was never collected and on the tracking notes it just says we are having a problem collecting your parcel at this time!? The customer service desk is only open until 4pm so have to wait another day for an update. Never again.

Hermes is a huge disappointment to the UK’s delivery services. Sadly, I have had a variety of bad experiences with them. The smaller issues include my packages always being delivered late or they don’t bother knocking. And leave the packages out for ages even when I’m not at home. But to me the worst thing they have done, I previously sent back a parcel worth £750. The parcel did end up getting delivered but when the parcel was open the item was magically not there. The company has CCTV footage of them opening the parcel and the item just not being there. The only way it could have magically disappeared was due to someone stealing the item! Luckily I bought £300 worth of protection, but then the shoes were worth £750. So, I got something back but not even half. Overall, they said they can’t do anything and have investigated the matter… but if you find out someone is stealing packages wouldn’t a thorough investigation be put in place? As you can guess they did not even bother. I am so disappointed and to be honest I am not even surprised as I have seen a lot of videos of Hermes couriers ‘dropping’ the package at someones doorstep, taking the photo to verify it was delivered and then they just take the parcel. Everyone using this service should be careful and beware of Hermes doing this. Because they don’t care and won’t give you your money back.

Sent home cinema system via Hermes, arrived at first local depot...…….. never to be seen again. I mean it's 120cm long and 60cm high so I guess it's quite easy to lose such a big item. Could easily fall into the boot of an employee. Not like anyone would care as they're completely unaccountable due to T's&C's. You've insured your item? Great! Problem solved..... Oh wait, no. It doesn't matter, as they still won't pay out. It was our fault for sending such shiny, fancy and expensive electrical products. How could we expect those poor Hermes workers not to take them? If you ever manage to contact them via phone, after searching ever inch of their website and finally finding the number in the middle of Narnia, you should be aware there is a minimum on hold time of 20 minutes. £ times I have called and each time after the 20 minute mark I am connected to a very sorry sounding advisor, who is simply there to tell me ''your item has been delayed and will be sent in the next 48 hours''. Thanks but you told me that 11 days ago and then 5 days ago. So make sure you have a spare 20 minutes to be told what you already knew and that you're an idiot for using this service. But at least they said sorry for losing my £200 sound system. I'll be sure to deposit that 'sorry' into my bank account. Cheers lads. In summary, they can steal your items and get away with it because we agreed to send items with them. Seriously, pay the little extra for ANY other courier. I would even send via Bellmarsh Prison couriers before I use Hermes again.

In the last month I have had to contact two companies to request they resend items because Hermes had failed to deliver them. In both cases I asked that a different courier be used and the items arrived within two days and this should be evidence that this company is not fit for purpose. I am unable to answer the optional questions about the deliveries because they weren’t made!

In the past 2 weeks I have had two parcels sent through this company. 1st one arrived after about a week (from within the UK) when tracking my parcel Hermes had the parcel at the local depot 3 times and then didn't????? On my latest parcel I needed to correct the postcode for delivery as it was entered incorrectly. Unable to do this online, via chat or on the useless telephone system in place. Dreadful company with communication issues that extend past customer service.

I sent a parcel to a friend for her birthday and the parcel seems to have gone missing, I can't say how upset and disappointed I am! I also sell a few things through ebay and two parcels have gone missing recently, apparently delivered to the wrong addresses. I am told by a customer advisor that it is very rare for parcels to go missing but I really don't believe that... it seems to keep happening to me.

Absolutely unbelievable the way my delivery is being handled,apparently they’ve tried to deliver 3 times despite me sitting here with the front door next to me and cctv recording- unless the delivery man was invisible. I live in city not on top of a mountain so easy access.If you try to get help you get a bot called Holly,no human contact with this company.Will not purchase from anyone again that uses this company becouse they are so useless it’s laughable.how they’ve managed to survive is a mystery.I’m totally disgusted with the whole performance.

Was supposed to have a Parcel delivered on the 2nd of March, no knock on the door just a text saying its undelivered I had to pay to have it resent still haven't recieved it and the tracking number they gave me was a fake so I cannot even contact them to ask about its whereabouts (pretty sure they are auctioning it off like they do a lot of parcels)

Driver stole parcel after collecting it. Parcel never reached the depot. Claim protection wasn't paid out. Lost 300 quid. Dont use thieving bams. You have been warned. Don't ever use this service. Unreasonable process to try getting claim against. There a nightmare. Never paid out full amount on my claim. Got my postal money back.

Only send something if you want it broken. Out of about six parcels sent over the period of a couple of weeks, two arrived damaged even though they were very well packed, it makes me wonder if the couriers play football with them, when I made a claim it turns out that the list of excluded items is so comprehensive that Hermes are able to get away with not paying compensation for anything, it seems as if the only items not on the exclusions list is the box you send it in.

One of the world's worst company ever. Why the hack companies don't mention in advance thye are using hermes. They are rubbish and useless. Form my 5 different deliveries where were Hamed by these horrible ppl. I only got 2 other 2 still missing since 3 months and 1 posted to wrong address. Taking pictures of the parcel only saying its evidence we delivered is not an evidence u useless workers

Hermes are denying they even collected my parcel even thou my neighbours saw it collected by the Hermes driver from my shed whilst I was at work! How can this company still be operating and stealing from customers!! I payed insurance up to £200 and apparently as I have no proof of collection I will not be compensated!!!! This company has made me feel like my integrity is being questioned but I hope the driver enjoyed my grand children's christmas presents!!! Discusting... please do not use this company for your own sanity. This dispute has been going on since mid december and today they are saying that without proof they are not compensating me!!. What a clever driver he was ay!!!!

I received a parcel yesterday (apparently 2nd attempt, after getting a message saying there was a delay), also including 2 parcels that I was expecting last year, I did receive messages stating that there was a delay, but surely over 4 months is totally unacceptable. I would not recommend Hermes to anyone

expected a delivery from Jacamo. I got the email saying it would be delivered in the afternoon. Then got an email stating it would be delivered in the early evening. In the middle of this time slot I got an email stating the parcel was delivered. There was no knock at the door and no activity outside as we would have seen the outside light come on. The email had a helpful picture of where the delivery was left. It was completely black. There is no customer service number that you can call to speak to anyone so I logged a ticket. (yes I did try the 0330 number but the automated system could not understand T00H - the start of my tracking ID, so I had to give up). Despite stating on the form that my preference was to be called, I got an email the next day saying that they were unable to identify where my order from JD Williams had gone and to contact the seller and put in a claim. My advice to any business looking to use Hermes - Don't, you should use DPD instead, they are far more reliable and won't affect your reputation.
