Hermes constantly deliver an abysmal service. I’ve not once received an order at the time they’ve originally sent me. Never. Ever. Today’s delivery is currently 5 hours late, I received the notification that it was going to be late an hour and a half after it should have been delivered. If any companies currently use them and are reading this review please change your delivery company, for the sake of my sanity...

Awful company awful service. First time I’ve used them, and they’ve lost my return parcel so I can’t get my refund. To make it worse they’ve deleted my tracking number off their system so it’s impossible to contact them in any way. I’ve got photo evidence that the number did work as I screened shot the parcel when it was picked up and now I can’t do anything. Will never use these criminals again, and have told anyone that’ll listen to avoid this lot like the plague.

Parcel sent including handmade gifts for my father from his grandchildren from Xmas, Birthday and now Fathers day. He's been unable to see the kids due to Leukaemia treatment and isolation. Fully insured package for those gifts that could be re-ordered. Parcel marked as delivered and signed for, although Hermes concede there is no GPS data to support this and no photo due to Covid 19 Standards. We have video evidence of the date and time to prove that no-one delivered. Chatbot online goes no-where as it just says it is marked as delivered. Email customer service auto response saying its no long a support change use the Chatbot! Called, phone lines down for 2 days. Hour wait and logged a ticket. 7 days now and still asking how to claim on the insurance for the clearly lost (or stolen) parcel. Updates every couple of days stating the issue has been escalated and sorry for the inconvenience. Save the time and use any other delivery service. If you must use Hermes don't bother with the insurance as apparently you will not even get a straight answer on how to claim.

My heart sinks when we discover myhermes will be deliverying our orders. The tracking info is always wrong, they say they tried to deliver but you know they haven't, always late. In the past we have resorted to going to the depot at 8am to pick up items needed. The latest issue, they say my parcel was damaged and couldn't be delivered ....rubbish, they just couldn't be bothered to drive to us because we live in the countryside. Shocking!

No way to contact them, they give you no information and don’t deliver your parcel.

For the same package and the same order it happened twice that they notified me they had made an attempt to deliver the package at my home which is completely false since for both "attempts" me and my neighbours were home. It is a very unreliable service indeed.

I had paid the most expensive price to deliver quickly and did not arrive on time.

Once again my parcel was dumped in the garden at the end of the drive (a previous parcel was even wedged underneath the 5-bar gate in full view of the road) instead of being delivered to the door or left in my designated safe place. On-line I was advised that 'my parcel had been delivered to the designated safe place' when clearly it hadn't. This time it was left at night so if I had not been eagle eyed, it would have been soaked by the rain overnight. I dread ordering something and being advised it will be delivered by Hermes. Many other companies deliver to this house with no problem but not Hermes.

I sent a return to Amazon supplier and I can track the parcel was picked up by MyHermes the following day but no further and that’s now 17 days ago. I tried using on line help called “Holly” which was no help at all as it didn’t recognise the tracking number even though I can track it! Shocking system. I then sent an email to customer service support hoping I’d get some human help and got an automated response telling e it’s no longer a help email and to use the useless Holly support. Thanks a lot MyHermes! I will be making a claim

Ordered from Amazon for next day delivery. Toilet roll as I have medical conditions and can't leave house due to Covid-19. Meant to be delivered Saturday time kept getting pushed back in Amazon notifications. Then it said it would be sometimes over the next 3 days. Then I received an update that they had tried to deliver to me at 12:31am which is a total fabrication in Hermes part. Now I'm stuck indoors, no family about and need toilet roll.

Not a complaint ...but I cant find anywhere to give you positive feedback...Just want to say a big thank you to the Hermes driver who collected from NISA in West vale, Little Neston, South Wirral today at 5pm. He was just about to drive off and saw me in the queue with a parcel and stopped, got out of his van, took my parcel , went to the front of the queue to get me a receipt for me before driving off with the parcel - all with a friendly smile. Much appreciated...he wasn't English (eastern european I think) excellent customer service and much appreciated. If it could get back to him it would be nice....

Hermes is AWFUL. There are numerous reasons why Hermes should be AVOIDED. 9 out of 10 times the parcel will arrive late (5-9 days later than shown), I have had numerous parcels that have been torn/battered about with no reason or explanation, The parcel will be stored in your 'Safe Place' like over the wall/in a hedge next to the house or even on the front doorstep! (Very safe!), The parcel will not show at all due to 'the courier couldn't find your address' even though there's a big number 1 on the front door! The courier's sometimes don't even ring the doorbell or knock so as to save time, and you will get a 'sorry you weren't in' message The help team don't seem to have any contact with the drivers if anything goes wrong (which it does frequently), so you basically have no choice but to wait for something that may or may not arrive, and see what condition it will be in when it does. In summary, absolutely terrible company that should be avoided at all costs

I have read reviews from customers who are trying to send parcels and having problems. It's no better the other side when waiting for parcels. I have had several notifications from Hermes saying that parcels had been delivered. 1 parcel delivered two weeks later. 1 arrived 2 hours later after delivery notification received. I have again had notification that another parcel had been delivered today. I'm still waiting. For the third time, I have had to contact the relevant company (from where the order originated) to advise that another is missing. An article in the Sun newspapers stated that Hermes had a problem with scanners and wrong postcodes were issued. They had 30,000 missing parcels in early June. I sympathise with sellers too as they have to refund people. It's of no use trying to contact Hermes as they are uncontactable and it's very upsetting for both buyers and sellers who are both losing out. When couriers deliver, they don't always ring the doorbell or even knock at the door to confirm name and address. They can still distance themselves. Sometimes parcels are left where they can be viewed by passers by. If part of the problem is of huge caseloads for couriers, Hermes should review this with staff because a lot will be conscientious and upset by the problems. I don't understand where these parcels are going and it does make you think that there is some dishonesty here. Out of choice I would never choose to do business with Hermes and am surprised that so many companies and individuals still choose to do so. One star is too good for this company - where's the star for zero service.

It's getting to the point where I may decide to avoid business with any company that uses Hermes, as they're disgusting. The last 3 times a delivery has been with Hermes there have been issues. On one occasion they indicated I had given instructions for the parcel to be returned to sender and they didn't even attempt to deliver it. In another case I had to request a credit card company to delivery my card via another delivery service which they thankfully did. Of course with service this bad, there's no proper options to contact Hermes. A service rep from one retailer said many Hermes drivers may not even have mobile phones. It's appalling Hermes is used to the extent that it is.

Been waiting 4 days for my delivery and still has not been delivered, the tracker keeps saying the driver was unable to deliver I want to know why! Hermes have delivered to me in the past so why is it so difficult this time? I have a further order coming from you too which you have had for 2 days which isn’t even out for delivery yet!!! Stop stealing people’s things. Do not use COVID as a excuse you have got drivers out there with peoples things that have been paid for.

My order was processed by the seller on 03 June and Hermes confirmed receipt on 04 June. I still have not received it. I have contacted Hermes several times via their tracking No and each time they confirm delivery within 24 hrs. I have checked again and its the same standard response. I completed a complaint form with them several days ago but have received no response They have had my parcel 16 days and I still have no idea when I will receive it. How on earth is this fraudulent business permitted to operate and why on earth are suppliers using them?

I wanted to send some framed pictures, I was told they would be picked up the following day. Four days later I was still waiting. I saw the courier in our road delivering, so I asked if they were picking mine up.they didn’t even know about them. Luckily they took them for me. My son is having problems with them now, he’s been waiting nearly a week for them to pick up a return parcel. You can’t contact them or get any help. Online it just says parcel will be picked up today , it’s said that everyday for the last week. They are useless, I would never use them again, unreliable isn’t the word id use

Wish I had read the reviews before booking a courier through Hermes. Booked a courier collection. Courier never arrived but the track and trace system informed me that apparently my parcel was collected at 3.01pm and was with the courier out for delivery - no it wasn't, it was still sitting on my dining room table! Trying to get through to customer services the next day (as the digital online assistant also insisted that my parcel had been collected) was a joke. On hold for what seems like an eternity before anyone answers, eventually they did and they put me on hold whilst they tried to contact the driver. After 10 minutes on hold I got cut off so back to calling customer services again and waiting on hold again. In total, more than hour of my time wasted trying to talk to customer services with no answer as to why my parcel has not been collected but it marked as being out for delivery. Eventually got so frustrated with getting nowhere that I told them to cancel the item and refund my postage cost - will use Royal Mail instead and would advise anyone else not to bother with this inadequate company. Only problem with this is that if my refund doesn't appear in my account I have to phone customer services again!

Factually incorrect statement sent by myHermes when trying to resolve an issue regarding parcels not collected by courier. MyHermes customer service might as well be non existent. When contacting them about parcels still awaiting collection from their courier service, I recieved 3 different responses. 1. Items had been collected - false I still had them. 2. Items were over sized and over weight - false one was the size of a shoe box and less than 2kg 3. No one was in - false we are in due to COVID-19 lockdown and furthermore parcels were left on the door step, in clear visable view. In attempt to respond to these replys, you get a response that it is an automated. The only option you are left with is to reinitate the case and wait. Shockingly, this is the case even if you go through 'resolver'. If you want to speak to a myhermes representative, you can pay £6 per minute for the privilege. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. Not because mistakes happen, they do, but when raising them yu accept an element of urgency or responsibility for the company to resolve in the most expedient and practical manner. My issue remains unresolved. My strongest recommendation to anyone reading this is to avoid at all costs. Yes they are competitive in their pricing, yes you might get lucky but you are rolling the dice with this company - avoid and take your custom elsewhere.
