Absolute disgraceful company. After all the negative reviews I am astounded as to why they are still able to operate and also why on earth do some people continue to use them. They marked my parcel as delivered even though they hadn't been anywhere my property. When queried they just said it would be delivered the next day between 5 & 7pm. 7pm came and went. I then got a text to say it would now be between 7 & 9pm even though on their website they say their couriers finish at 8pm. Still waiting but don't hold out any hope whatsoever that they are being truthful especially after reading other readers experiences. This so called company needs serious investigations.

Usual my Hermes service Every time we get a delivery from them we get a message saying there was a problem with the delivery address All the other delivery company’s don’t have a problem .And u can’t contact them u just get u useless bit called holly who must be based on the rest of the company USELESS ! Steer well clear get a company that can be bothered to look for your address to deliver for you

I can't contact them. My parcel has been at their distribution centre for 9 days and nothing is happening. Their Bot and voice generated computer systems tell me what I can find out on the website. There is no way to speaking to anyone who can help. Absolute joke in this day and age. Avoid at all costs

They treated a fragile parcel like it was rubbish causing the items inside to turn up smashed. They are a complete and utter useless bunch of retards and need to swap out the invalids to some decent people who will take care of customers parcels

Said they had trouble with my delivery address.. very strange as the postman buzzed to get in and another courier company just after on the same day . I live in high-rise block of flats. It's a landmark in my city!!!.. The Holly assistant is rubbish.. why does this company exist? Only to cause problems I guess.. They should be thoughly investigated.. they would make a great "secret camera, behind the scenes" program..

Before these events, I had an order from a different retailer sent via Hermes. On the day due for delivery, I received a call from the driver asking where I was. The driver was at a different property approximately 400m up the road (same postcode). Informed her of this and she said “oh that isn’t my area. Can you collect it?” I couldn’t as being a key worker, I was away from home all week, working. She instead returned the parcel to the depot with a note on saying that it was on the wrong route and specified which route it was to be on. 18/05/20 – Placed an order with well known sports team of some items (also happened to eas gifts for family who have been having a hard time during lockdown. 19/05/20 - Dispatched with Hermes. 21/05/20 - “Parcel is with your local driver. Expect between 10:00 and 12:00”…. 10:14 “There was an error with your parcel, please allow 24 hours”. 22/05/20 – “There’s been a delay. Please contact us about your parcel”. As a customer receiving a parcel you have ZERO access to contact Hermes. Holly the automated service online and the automated service on the phone. "Contact the retailer in the first instance" is the message. But why?! Hermes asked ME to contact THEM directly. Needless to say, couldn’t contact them. So, I contacted the retailer as Hermes advised. Retailer informed me that according to Hermes, it is a “Postcode error”. Confirmed my postcode to be correct, told retailer about situation above with wrong delivery area and retailer informed Hermes 23/5/20: Called by Hermes (private number of course) to confirm my address. Confirmed it and explained that it needs to be on a different route. “Yeah, yeah, yeah ok bye” was the reply. 25/05/20: “Parcel is with your local driver and will be with you between 13:00 and 15:00”. 13:10 “There was an error with your parcel, please allow 24 hours”. More chasing to retailer. 26/05/20: “Delay with your parcel please allow 48 hours” Also placed an order from a separate retailer, didn’t realise Hermes was the delivery courier… (What occurred with this parcel was EXACTLY the same process as above) 01/06/2020: “It’s with us” 12/06/20: Contacted retailer – Hermes have lost your parcel. It seems the same is happening with the other one too. From this point forward, I will do as much as possible to avoid Hermes including talking to companies first about which courier service they use. I'm even prepared to pay double the amount to avoid Hermes. If you can, I'd advise you try to do the same too. PLEASE RATE ON TRUST PILOT TOO. Make sure it is the correct page as "Hermes parcels" is the unofficial one. "Herms UK" is the correct one and it is currently sitting at 4.2 stars out of 5!! Alot of suspect reviews on there. Ordered an item from London, never arrived and I was wanting for one month. I've had so many problems with Hermes lately, they need to be investigated! They have so many bad reviews and customers they still use it. No contact numbers or direct email addresses. No way to speak to a human.

Terrible customer service - automated can’t talk to a person. Said they tried to deliver - they did not, they can’t find my address although all other delivery companies don’t have a problem.

Collected a parcel from me on 3/6 for an address they have been to before. On 11/6 tracking told me they would deliver 4-8 at 9.30 update The courier had trouble getting to the delivery address. Excuse after excuse. Pay extra to have it collected and still takes forever to get there. Just hope they receive it tomorrow. Not worth dealing with to much stress.

Service is beyond poor. Lost three parcels, each parcel had been scanned by the driver at the parcel shop but never arrived at the depot. All three parcels were packaged the same and were classed as high value but Hermes could not see the ‘coincidence’. Slogan should be ‘ we take your money and your parcels’

Waiting for parcels to be delivered that are late. Needed to walk my shielded aunts dog so held back as I have experienced leaving my parcels out in the rain. Recently had to return expensive Lego sets to John Lewis due to wreck-less damage. By far the worst parcel company I have ever dealt with. Avoid!

Fuming isn’t the word ... get an email to say my delivery will be between 10am and 12pm no one arrived! Then gets another one to say my parcel will be with me between 5pm and 9pm been in the house all day, then gets another one to say parcel has been delivered at 21.02 and signed for!!!! Turns out no one came to my house with a parcel and wasn’t signed for because of covid 19 as there not taking signatures! SO WHERE IS MY PARCEL HERMES???????? I’ve reported you to George where my item is from! Please tell me where my item is????

Here's couldn't deliver, asked me to update my order bit there is no way to update it other than a chat bot that simply tells me they couldn't find my address and they can't donanything about it. Morons

Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever endured both parcel delivery wise and customer service wise (it’s non existent and a masterclass in frustration and it costs you to call them on a premium rate number).

Terrible service, 3 x packages were scheduled for collection, none were picked up and Hermes won’t provide a refund. Have written to the CEO, but given his lack of response he couldn’t care less either.

No parcel turned up, said it will be with me one day, waited in no parcel, that same parcel said it will be deliverd the next day it dident turn up, you cant even ring them the number has changed your given a knew number and it dosent exist, now I'm waiting on another parcel and scared to death that wont turn up ither, it's a disgrace, I never used them and its damn hard when on their site they say contact the sender, why? It's not there fault your doing them a service and not fulfilling that service, im so mad and I want this published.there is no live chat ither.

Parcel should have been delivered on Monday 8th and it is now Wednesday 10th with still no sign. Tracking information is either not recognised or tells me it has arrived at my local depot and then tells me it is on its way to my local depot. The on line digital assistant is an insult to anyone's intelligence and you cant get through to speak to customer services. As this was an item being sent to me, my hands were tied as to which courier the supplier uses, but I WILL NOT be using Hermes for goods that I send out. Not a reliable company. Save your money and use a different, reputable courier. `
