“The parking is fine, incredibly expensive, would be better if the machines read your number plate on exit and automatically lifted the barriers rather than have to put your ticket in if you had already paid”

“We chose premium fast track parking for ease after driving down from Scotland. We could not have been any closer to the terminal and fast track through security with 2 kids in tow makes the airport experience much less stressful. Wider access parking spaces also makes it easier to get kids in and out of the car without worrying you'll damage the car beside you. Will use again.”

“Very convenient only downside in the short stay 1 was lack of disabled bays due to some poor parking by 2 individuals who had parked using 2 bays each. Hope they got charged for 2 bays.”

“Overall a very good service. Booking via website has been trouble free for me. Charges are reasonable when promotions are applied but a little expensive otherwise. More disabled parking bays in each area would be particularly helpful. All have been occupied on the last three occasions I parked there at both the premium long-stay and short stay areas.”

“Self check in has more staff doing very little compared to previous system. It's like queuing in a pub to pull your own pint ! Security in departures friendly and efficient. Arrivals rude and slightly power crazed. Gate number not given soon enough, forced to stay in departure area without enough seats - had to sit on floor for an hour or spend more money in concession to find a seat. This appears to be a UK airport thing now , not just Newcastle but it's cynical and not a good customer experience. The car parking was fine , a bit too expensive but at least it's onsite and not gravel. Back again at the end of August wondering wether to bring some folding chairs.”

“Parked the car no problem and got the bus to the terminal almost immediately. Booked in again no problem and then went through security very quickly (much improved on the last time we were here). Had a cup of tea and waited for plane which took off about twenty minutes after scheduled. On returning we again had no problems and our luggage was on the carousel in no time. Found the bus stop for the car park bus which arrived promptly. Took us to car and we just drove through the checkpoint as camera recognised car.”
