The parking is fine, incredibly expensive, would be better if the machines read your number plate on exit and automatically lifted the barriers rather than have to put your ticket in if you had already paid

Self check in has more staff doing very little compared to previous system. It's like queuing in a pub to pull your own pint ! Security in departures friendly and efficient. Arrivals rude and slightly power crazed. Gate number not given soon enough, forced to stay in departure area without enough seats - had to sit on floor for an hour or spend more money in concession to find a seat. This appears to be a UK airport thing now , not just Newcastle but it's cynical and not a good customer experience. The car parking was fine , a bit too expensive but at least it's onsite and not gravel. Back again at the end of August wondering wether to bring some folding chairs.

59 quid to park for a day what a rip off but like everything else at airport they have your pants down £7.50 a pint £12.50 a glass of wine food well overpriced

Newcastle Airport is an airport of two halves. The departure side is great and I have no complaints. Arrivals however is a different matter. There are only five e-gates, one of which is constantly out of order. There are always a number of passport control officials manning the desks but they frequently sit there unused until an airline rep decides they should divert some of the frequently vast queue towards them. The last time I went through there were three other aircraft that had landed recently. Not only were the queues absolutely ludicrous and disorganised chaos, there was nobody there to assist or control. In all honesty it’s a shambles!

I use the car park as it is convenient for me, but I think it is to expensive and the shuttle bus service is not frequent enough, more often than not we walk from the car to the terminal.

Nice airport parking for our short trip to Belfast but it is very expensive. The £5 Drop off charge is also exhorbidant and must be a gold mine for the operators. Wish I could earn £5 for every 2 minutes work i undertake.

We had difficulty in purchasing a ticket at the standard charge as it was on a Saturday when we booked. Also the system did not read our car registration correctly so had to visit the ticket office to resolve a £190 parking charge. All after a long flight and in the early morning not great.

Would have been four stars but for the following reason. Paid for parking in advance. Nevertheless I had to go around twice before I found a space. How difficult would it be to reserve spaces if you pay upfront

Well sign posted and clean car park. Just very expensive, cheaper to use a taxi. Unfortunatlely not very enviromental.

Security and passport check was very busy, massive queues and once through it was very stressful, massive queues everywhere for food, very little seating, seem to be an area not big enough for all the passengers waiting to board their planes, in comparison to other international airports this area needs to be bigger, it was claustrophobic.

The physical direction signs to Premier Fast Track parking are unclear. I found myself in long stay and needed the operators help. At the end of the stay the exit machine failed to recognise my ticket and again I needed assistance But, the car park is conveniently located with wider than normal parking bays.

Used the premium meet and greet - as we have done several times previously - only this time to find they've 'upgraded' the system and you now use self-service points to drop off your keys - which part of meet and greet suggests self-service? Now expected to pay a premium for do it yourself.
