“Parked car for 10 days.On exiting the car park on our return the barrier would not lift to allow us to exit.The machine demanded a ridiculous amount of money to exit.Contacted parking company on the machine who bypassed the payment and lifted the barrier for us.This has happened the last 3 times we have used this car park short stay 2.What is going on.Need to improve the ticket system so it works properly.We prepaid the parking online so it should have worked better. John Garbutt.”

“Well it would be nice to give it 5 stars --but I can't--EVERY time I arrive home --it's s warm feeling --until you have to wait EVERY time for that ladder to come to the plane or the bus to arrive --for the short journey to the terminal--I keep thinking to myself -" DID THEY NOT KNOW WE WERE ARRIVING ?" Sorry but you need to know--well if you read the comments”

“Good service but a map to show where shuttle bus stops at Airport to pick you would have been good. It was cold and windy when we got off, didn’t know where shuttle bus stops, no time table was sent and we started walking with luggage & kids. A generic map and time table of shuttle bus must be sent to email so we know where to go. Thank you”

“Short stay car park was very convenient. Second time in a row that I have used Newcastle Airport Car Park and it has not recognised my number plate on exit. Small thing but annoying to have to speak to someone at 02:30 in the morning.”

“We used mid stay for a week - walk to terminal about 10 mins - depending on where you are in the car park Easy to use and to get to Very expensive over £100 for a week !!!”

“Usually great BUT this time our ticket didn’t allow us to leave automatically. Booked directly with Newcastle airport parking so disappointing that we had to sit there while they found the pre paid booking before they raised the barrier to let us out. No sign of a bus anywhere near when we arrived or returned so had to walk the full distance both ways. Again, disappointing.”

“Pre Booked in advance to Short Stay 2 Easy access on arrive . Not so on our return where the tickets M/c insisted we pay and extra £250 on top of our pre Booked price to Exit the car park. Once home manage to finally get a refund for the extra cost . But something you can do without after a delayed flight !!!”

“Easy to book and use. Think it’s quite expensive, especially as the last few times we have been to the airport for a very early morning flight, we have only seen the shuttle bus parked up. Not once have we seen it running.”

“Easy to book however barrier failed to open when leaving the car park. Ended up having to reverse away from exit gate, park up and sort in the office. Luckily it was 2:00 in the morning and not busy.”

“It’s quite expensive! I’m flying from Edinburgh to the Canaries this month, and the parking alone is literally half the price of the flight. You’ve really priced yourself out of the market.”
