The car park - is exactly what it is - how ever it is SO expensive - every time i book (4-5 times a year) the price has increased again.

Main issue was there isn’t or doesn’t appear to be any information re shuttle buses back to your car .. ended up having to wheel cases etc circa over 800m

On line booking and ticket system works well. I have to mention however that I would have thought that on returning to Newcastle on 1/12/23 that the long stay car park that my vehicle had been parked would have been gritted following the snowfall prior to that date. Fortunately I have a front wheel drive new vehicle that is good in such conditions. If I’d had a Merc or BMW I might have been booking into the airport hotel, buying a spade and phoning the AA for a tow out of the car park. A bit more grit please. 🙏 cheers

Parking itself was fine, with a number of spaces to choose from. There is, however, an issue with the parking system. On arrival, I dropped an elderly person at express drop off, then proceeded to Long Stay. I parked the car and walked to the terminal. On returning after my trip, the barrier would not open as I was judged to owe over £100 for my stay. I pressed the help button, and after some time the barrier was raised. Entering the express drop-off area appears to have voided my pre-payment. I wonder how many others this happens to, as dropping off passengers before parking is not unusual. No complaints about parking, staff or security of the vehicle -- all fine. However, the system needs adjustment to avoid post-flight stress.

The airport is getting better but still queues and long waits for luggage after terrible queues at security , the bars and restaurant are allways full and very costly. , the car parks ( short stay 2 ) are excellent

Unless you park in short stay one all other parking is too far away from the terminal. You need a bus system

Carparking has plenty of choice and you can easily walk to the terminal, depending on how many bags you may have! Unfortunately, on my last trip! someone did bump into my front end, paint damage and reliant on the honesty of the other driver!

Newcastle airport parking is so expensive. Our holiday represents told us Newcastle airport is the most expensive in the country. We booked direct itwas a quick holiday so hence we booked only with a few days to fly so thought this was why it was expensive .Next Year in June 27th for two weeks we've been quoted £166 from this website. We will book a taxi.

Even though I paid for the parking , when I tried to leave it came on screen that I owed £100 . It was resolved after 10 minutes of sitting at barrier waiting for a member of staff on intercom

I waited 30 mins and there was no shuttle bus to take me to the airport - i would have just walked but the weather was awful - had to walk in the end! When i left i was also nearly charged for my parking again - had to press the help button and speak to someone to be let through the barrier.

All parking is way too expensive, on top of the £58 for 3 nights, I paid £5 to drop the luggage off at departures because it was lashing it down.

Car park access & egress fine, bus transfer abismal we arrived back at 1 o'clock in the morning the weather was atrocious, we had to walk back to the car along with the rest of the passengers on the plane as the bus transport hadent started.

Parking spaces need to be numbered as it can be difficult finding your car at night !

There were no trolleys anywhere to be had and the bus service was not available at 4.30am so it was a long walk with a case and a cycle box. It's also getting far too expensive to park your car.
