Too much space allocated to retail. Very poor experience for passengers looking for a non retail or leisure experience

Newcastle airport parking is getting to extortionate prices. They have shut down the offsite car parks so they have the monopoly and freedom to raise prices without any competition. I need a carpark close to the terminal and the time we used the long stay carpark the buses didn't pickup at the bus stop where we parked. The carpark is so busy it's difficult to find a parking space. We only use it because there is now no alternative.

Short Stay 2 Parking: Bit surprised when we checked out of Short Stay 2, put the ticket in the machine and a fee of over £200 came up!! I had pre-paid the parking and parked in the correct car park for the correct ammount of time. I made contact via the machine, told the guy my situation, he said hold on I will check. 8 mins later the barrier just went up, so I drove off. It would have been reasuring if the guy had come back and told me everything was ok. Carl

Long stay is very handy, but I only use if there is discounts. When it's full price it's cheeper to get a hotel. Finding your car at night is a nightmare ! So better signage would help. Also consider customers wheeling trollers or suitcases. Curbs and poor services !

Very very busy, difficult to find a space. Large vehicles not parked correctly, so access in and out of car is made hard. Abandonded trollies all over parking area, these should be collected when not taken back by customers. All a bit lacking considering how much is charged. Could do better

Car parking excellent, check in very hit and miss depends who is on the desk as to what happens to our bags - classed as oversized or not, security organised staff pleasant, departure lounge is horrific, nowhere to sit, far too small for the number of people who are in there.

I was disappointed that the premium fast track car park we booked was full on our arrival at Newcastle International Airport, however after contacting your office, parking was made available in the express car park. Not the best way to start your holiday!

So expensive.. but service is ok, book on line. Bit confusing as some car parks you just drive out , others you need ticket, so don’t do what I did and leave it in your case!!

The exit barrier did not recognise our booking so had to waste time looking for our booking reference and contacting the help person to explain the situation. My relative who was in a different car park (long stay) also experienced the same problem when at the exit barrier.

Used the facility a few weeks ago. I wouldn't call it a 'meet and greet' though. Park your car and wander into the office where you hand your key over. That's the same as APH at Manchester, although there is a five-minute bus ride to the airport there. Only benefit is the 50-yard walk to the terminal. We're flying from Newcastle at the end of November and don't really have much option than to use it again. Struggling with mobility, I don't exactly have much choice.

We used Short stay 1 for a 7 night holiday. I believe improvements could be made in this car park by making the parking spaces bigger, with increasing numbers of much bigger vehicles, the spaces are barely adequate, especially considering the cost of parking. It would also help to have the rows numbered, for ease of finding vehicle in the dark

Well signposted easy to use car parking, but it is pricey and not well laid out for pedestrian activity from car parking to the main footways to the terminal building. The car parking charges for the drop off outside the Terminal building are exhorbidant at £5 for a maximum 10 minute stay.
