“Parked in Short Stay 2 for a Friday afternoon flight, returning Monday evening. Reasonably easy access - but as lead in roads use mini roundabouts, need to be on the ball to pick out the correct signage to get to where you need to be - as there are a lot of signs, spotting the one you're looking for can be a challenge if you have other vehicles behind you. Sure if you've been a few times, this would be quite easy to navigate - and the online 'drive in' videos did help to give a better idea of what to expect. Actual parking was perfect - plenty of space (mid sized van), and a 2 - 3 minute walk to terminal. Return flight came in after 5pm, so dark by then - finding vehicle in car park was fine, and exiting car park was actually a lot easier (maybe less distractions from signage etc in the dark). Ticket machine and exit barrier worked fine - no issues. Would definitely use this car park again - and so much more convenient to be able to have own vehicle securley parked, ready for return.”

“I think this is a good airport. The addition of the new restaurant overlooking the runway is a great improvement. Parking remains very expensive. My biggest issue is the lack of lifts to and from the gates.”

“Parked car for 10 days.On exiting the car park on our return the barrier would not lift to allow us to exit.The machine demanded a ridiculous amount of money to exit.Contacted parking company on the machine who bypassed the payment and lifted the barrier for us.This has happened the last 3 times we have used this car park short stay 2.What is going on.Need to improve the ticket system so it works properly.We prepaid the parking online so it should have worked better. John Garbutt.”
