“Parking - Meet & Greet parking well worth the extra cost, no struggling to get cases on a bus, minimal exposure to poor weather. Friendly, effcient staff. - still think direction signage very poor especially exiting car parks at dead of night in bad weather Check-in, Security etc - normally quick and hassle-free Catering - most outlets in need of a refurb and attention to service and cleanliness Shops, Duty Free - good selection with helpful staff Departure gates - ok, variable depending on airline's handling agents Arrivals - ok, unless arriving in poor weather and then bussed in - Border Force generally well organised with Passport Gates as well as staff in attendance Baggage - been flying from NCL for many years and still surprised how long it takes for bags to appear even when only one flight being handled”

“Parking charges are excessive. They should use dynamic pricing like airlines so the car parks are fully utilised rather than half empty due to exorbitant prices. £45 a week in long stay is a fair price but recently it’s been costing £60+ or more. The airport management should also take a drive up to Edinburgh to see how an airport should be run. Newcastle airport needs a deep clean and they should charge accordingly to the facilities they offer in their grossly overpriced and grubby hospitality outlets airside. Security is the only good point with friendly staff and an efficient system.”
