“Worst airport I've use. Delayed over 6 hours. Made to climb stairs to the gates 3 times with 2 kids and a pram with no lifts available. Very small airport. Will never use this airport again. No issues with parking. Probably best part of the airport.”

“It was the first time that I used the car park and it was very easy and so useful as it was close to the terminal. It was heavy rain on our departure and arrival back to Newcastle.. I will certainly use it again in the future.”

“After a great holiday I attempted to exit the car park with my pre-paid ticket but instead of the barrier opening it requested I pay £260.00 by credit/debit card. I re-inserted the ticket on three occasion but each time it was declined and the payment was requested. I then pressed the assistance button and after a long delay the barrier opened. This was totally unacceptable when a pre paid ticket had already been purchased.”

“Parking spaces in Short Stay 1 are just too small. I struggle to find a space I can get my qashqai into everytime I park there. The last time I parked there I had a problem at the exit in that I was asked to pay even though I had pre-booked and pre-paid. This was sorted out by using the call button, but this did take quite a while for someone to answer so I guess I wasn't the only one having problems.”

“Very close to airport which is great but very few spaces available. Also had an issue with getting out though we were within the booking time but it was resolved when we pressed the help button. Would use again but go for the longer stay car park as it’s just as close and lots more spaces.”

“I used short stay car park 1 whilst away in London for a few days. Booked and prepaid online , easy to find and access car park on the day, short walk to arrivals hall and smooth exit upon return. Will definitiely use again.”
