“This meet and greet parking system made our short break to Iceland start and end with no hassle at all. Very quick and easy to park up and pick up the car with the convenience of being right next to the terminal.”

“Newcastle is usually an excellent airport, but on this occasion there was chaos in security because one of the belts was diverting everyone’s bags for searching and there were no staff around to help the one poor women trying to investigate everyone’s bags. It was weird because there were numerous people looking at the belt next to ours which was cordoned off and a man ostentatiously wandering around saying he was looking for someone to help the woman, rather than helping him herself. Then when we finally got through security there were loads of duty free staff standing around doing nothing. Allocating a few more trained security staff and a few less standing around people would have made a big difference that morning!”

“A perfectly adequate Long Stay carpark. On this occasion we managed to get a space that was just a 5 minute walk from the terminal. There were no problems upon entry or departure from the park, following an online booking. The cost is fairly comparable to other airport parking arrangements, but remains expensive.”

“This is the first time I have used Newcastle airport in many years. I found the airport to be very user friendly. Relaxed, building not too warm and facilities excellent. Newcastle airport is now my airport of choice for future air travelling.”

“Even the main long stay car park is, if you are lucky in finding a space shortly upon entering is close enough to the terminal to walk and part of the path is covered. Even if at busy periods you are parking in one of the extermintaries the frequent coach to and from the terminal picks you up and there is a telephone in each 'bus stop' to let the driver know you are there during quieter hours. On occasions the driver has seen me unloading my vehicle and waited for me which is excellent seervice. I have experienced really good communications with the customer service team, both by 'phone and email when travel plans suddenly changed. My only quibble is signage to the various car parks (long stay, shiort stay etc.) is not the best, especially if using the car park for the first time but that fault rests with the airport not the car parking facility. Parking here is our prefered choice when flying from Newcastle rather than taxis, as the pricing is competative.”
