The furniture itself is great, but that is the only reason they are getting any stars. Their general organisation, internal systems, customer communication and expectation setting is terrible. When I placed the order (10 different items), it was 12 week lead times, fair enough, during COVID and other disruption, an we pay up front of course. They wait until the week before the order to update us that EVERYTHING was delayed another 8 months. After pushing (and being on hold for over an hour before you get to speak to anyone), it turns out only 3 items were delayed, the rest were sat in the warehouse. They split the order as a 'favour' so we could get that 'early'. that had to be escalated to 2 or 3 supervisors, seems a fairly standard customer service to provide?? Over the next 8 months and regular calling (with the obligatory hour on hold before speaking to anyone - 'exceptional call volumes' ?? No, just hire more staff), I managed to get most the remaining pieces one by one as they came in to stock - no proactive contacting to me. the final item was scheduled to arrive 2 weeks ago, it never arrived and I had no communication to say why. finally rearranged for today... just got a text message at 9am (progress!) saying we're sorry its delayed, call our dedicated hotline... currently on hold....

The worst company I have ever dealt with. From the moment you walk through their doorway and are accosted by Del Boy and Rodney (and several times more whilst just wanting to browse), to the excruciating ordering process whilst they try and link sell slime on toast, to the rip-off charges for delivery, to the pathetic excuses for delay (none of which they take accountability for), to the black hole of attempting customer service, this is a shambles of an operation. Recommend Furniture village- cost a bit more but excellent, knowledgable, unpushy service, quality furniture, free delivery and delivery dates delivered.

Absolute disgrace. Will be cancelling my order tomorrow. In short, placed order in August last year with delivery date in November, they cancelled and advised delivery before Christmas, sat on phone to Customer Services for nearly an hour, they promised to phone to confirm but never did, and of course cancelled delivery. Had two further delivery dates and guess what,..... Cancelled!!I Furniture now in sale so over £300 less than I paid for it. Sent four emails - no responses. Can't get through on phone. Worse company/customer services I've ever dealt with. Would need to question the review rating on Trustpilot - complete rubbish. My opinion....... Do not buy anything from this shambolic company.

I have been trying to get someone on the hotline for 6 days now. I tried at multiple times of day. Waited on the phone for more than an hour on average. At this point I am so fed up. I just want them to take everything back. Unfortunately I can`t get a hold of anyone to tell them that. Be warned. If you have a problem with any part of the furniture. You will have a problem getting it sorted out.

James Colquhoun and Warren Smythe delivered a 2 and 3 seater sofa to my 92 year father. They were so very helpful, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you so much. You both are a real asset to Oak furniture land.

Never using this company again! Used to be the best. Now they take your money and not deliver your furniture on time..they LL tell you the day before your furniture is coming then as soon as you got rid of your suite and dining table 5 days before Xmas, they say they can't deliver until march!!! No apologies, all Xmas after recovering from bowel cancer surgery 4 weeks before and having nowhere to sit....the furniture was ordered the August before!!!!! Don't waste your money . Have I been compensated for what me and my family have been through? What a disgusting company..save your money!

Ordered in October for guaranteed delivery before Christmas - they cancelled three times. Order finally arrived in January damaged - sent item back. Replacement has just the arrived the following week and been unboxed and it's more damaged than the first one. Really quite upset as this is the first nice furniture we really invested in.

Awful customer service. Like so many others I just cannot get through to speak to a person. A minor problem with my wardrobe - fittings, instructions, and rails weren't included in the delivery. Surely this is a 5-minute fix if I could just speak to or email a person to tell them this, but their online fault 'reporting' function gives no option to write about the problem I have, just the ability to upload pictures (how do I tell them something is missing with a picture? It isn't there to take a picture of!!). So incredibly frustrating.

Horrendous from start to finish, 13 week delivery then you have to deal with rude obnoxious delivery driver's, then you find one of the items ordered is damaged, you try to contact customer service..... 3 40min calls and still didn't get to speak to a person. Trying to contact them on the my account page won't accept my email address even though its the same one they keep bombarding me with sales info.... Try to download warranty, not a chance after 10 attempts still have not been able to get it

Trying to report a faulty delivery! Tried three times to get through to what they call Customer Service. First time 47 mins and gave up, second time 1 hour and gave up, third time (as I type) I am now over 1 hour! I keep getting told to 'go online' but according to my account the items have not been delivered so I don't know what I am looking at in my hallway for past 2 days?!? I cannot 'go online' as you say in your ever repeating answer service as it wont let me report a fault as it thinks it is still not delivered! It therefore wants me to call... and this is where are are STILL !!! If I dealt with my customers like this I would be out of business. Stupidly this is the second encounter as I purchased bedroom furniture previously (which was delivered damaged) and it was a debacle getting replacements. Do not buy from this company. I wish I had returned the originals and didn't have to buy more of the same. !!!

Absolutely awful company to deal with. Placed 4 orders back in September, we have had issues with 3 of them so far. Zero customer service, spent 1.5 hours on hold so far and still haven't been able to speak to anyone. Avoid!

I paid in full for a Sofa and delivery back in September Have had 3 delivery dates . And now it 4 months and still not arrived ! Was inform by emil it was coming at 15.00 to 18.00 hrs Yesterday , Wife took day off work ! AGAIN ! If i had known ! It was going to take so long ! I Would gone some where elise ...can some one please call me ! With a delivery date ! THAT IS NOT GOING TO BE CANCELED ! I DRIVER 44 TON TRUCK ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY . AND DRIVE FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER IN 2 DAYS SO TO BE 4 MONTHS ... WHY ?

We ordered a sofa and eventually when arrived it was left jammed in my hallway and was the incorrect colour. The foot stool legs were damaged and the sofa legs too plus damaged caused to the hallway and door frames. This was eventually sorted after accepting the incorrect colour and new footstool sent (this too 3 attempts until one that was not damaged arrived). We gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered TV until, mirror and side unit in the solid oak Romsey range. Tv arrived fine but mirror damaged and yet again took 3 attempts before we got one that wasn’t damaged even though not perfect I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. We had waited 18 weeks for side unit to arrive but unfortunately when it did it was badly damaged too. Tried and tried calling with no joy I had emailed customer services with photos of damage but nothing it was only when I twittered them I eventually got a response. Please be aware of this company there furniture may state solid oak but the quality and after care service is diabolical.

Telling a customer there will be a 8 week delay 1 week before original delivery is unacceptable. I understand with Covid and Brexit most companies are having problems but you surely knew before now there would be a delay …you probably knew at point of purchase. I as many other people have now disposed of old furniture ready for delivery and I’m now sitting in an empty room for the next who knows how long. You could of handled this so much better your customer services is diabolical no answer from the phone no answer to emails I will now on principle cancel my order and enjoy my minimalist front room.

DO NOT ORDER DO NOT ORDER I made an order at a store in April 2021. It is January 2022 and I still have not yet received my order. It was due to arrive in September 2020, which was already a long wait in comparison with other stores. I took a day off work for this as you have to commit to an all day slot. I got an email a couple of weeks before to say it’s not coming. I then rescheduled for November. I called up myself because I didn’t trust them at this point and they did indeed tell me it wasn’t coming for then either. I had paid extra for flexible delivery so they ended up taking that off the order seeing as I never got my items delivered on time. Then it was rescheduled for January. I called in December again concerned and they said it should be fine in January. I had also emailed concerned about all of this and it’s been a week and no one has even bothered to reply. I’m sat there watching the adverts at Xmas time where it says they can guarantee an order in time for Xmas! How? I’ve been waiting now 8 months? Now it’s 5 days until delivery and I received a text saying it is coming and I’ll get to book a delivery slot soon. NOW, I’ve got an email saying none of it is in fact coming!! Again I had taken a day off work to accommodate for the delivery. It’s just ridiculous. Every time I call I’m on hold for ages and no one can tell me when it’s actually coming. If I ordered this from any other store I would have had it by now! The service is so bad, they just say enough stuff to have me ticking over and waiting. When is it actually going to come? I don’t see the point of waiting anymore, I’m going to start looking elsewhere. If you want to avoid the same disappointment DO NOT ORDER!! I have no idea how they have good reviews, they have been terrible start to finish! I have honestly never been so infuriated and upset when ordering expensive items! They have lost a customer and I am certainly going to tell all my friends and family about this experience so they will not be purchasing either. I have never even written a review before but I feel like this has pushed me to levels of anger I’ve never felt before

Cant get through to cancel order, when i did told i would get email never did, then had to go through ringing again.. takes a very long time to get through ... beware also watch the electric recliners... no mention of cables... plugs near by or costs of running... also watch charges for cancelling hidden in small print... BuYER BEWARE

I would leave zero stars if I could, the sofa I ordered was to be delivered, and didn't fit, despite me on several occasions giving the dimensions for the front door, the delivery drivers informed me the sales staff regularly do this and its so they get the commission! The drivers where just going to leave the sofa (£2000) in the front garden for me to deal with, until I had to get on the phone to return item, for which they then had the cheek to attempt to charge me, despite on their notes it saying the dimensions. The next part of my order was due to be delivered on 04/01/22, a bed, on 31/12/21 I received a voicemail to say there was a delay, ad they didnt know a delivery time? Four days before the item was due, the staff are beyond unhelpful, bordering on rude, couldn't care less about the customer, It takes a long time to get through to customer services, ad you regularly get cut off whilst on hold, and before oakfurniture land reply and say this was due to covid, that is garbage, its been around long enough now to have contingencies in place, and at least you sould let the customer know asap, not four days before, I would highly recommend avoiding at all costs, and go to a local retailer, where we eventually had to go and which couldn't be more helpful. Oak Furnitureland is certainly one to miss.

We did have some problems with delivery of our items and then only one part of our three seater sofa arrived, and we had to wait 9 days for the other part to come but there are some people that work for Oak furnitureland that deserve a special mention. Firstly, I would like to thank and give a special mention to Kyle that works in Customer service in Swindon. Kyle went above and beyond when our initial delivery was cancelled and rang me back to try and get the delivery arranged before Christmas, thank you Kyle!! Also special thanks go to Jan and Damyian for a brilllant premium delivery service. They were helpful and professional and very friendly and assembled our sofa and took all the packaging away afterwards.

Let down twice on delivery. They happily took my money way and gave me a ‘delivery date ‘ which then was changed to a later date, and then again. In total, I had to wait an extra 3 weeks, taking the total to around 8 weeks !! Terrible service, no one made us aware until the delivery days, we would have gone elsewhere if we could have. I would take what the advisors say with a pinch of salt if buying from them. Ruined our Christmas!
