“OH DEAR Seems im another victim of bad service from this company. Had enough now so will cancel my order and i can not recommend this company to anyone. i have lost so many days waiting in and same situation, text messaged stating part of my order is missing, really its one wardrobe so how can that be right??? i feel its a shame as shop staff are trying their best but feel the firm is hanging in there just so be careful is my advice. i went into store to be shown on the screen a label placed on my order and definitely being delivered this time .... guess what cancelled again.”

“I cant really fault OFL customer service … when you finally get through to them. The delivery guys Perry and Mick were absolutely super. Upon arrival were very friendly polite and helpful. They assembled the sofa for me. Very professional and a credit to the company”

“James Colquhoun and Warren Smythe delivered a 2 and 3 seater sofa to my 92 year father. They were so very helpful, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you so much. You both are a real asset to Oak furniture land.”

“We did have some problems with delivery of our items and then only one part of our three seater sofa arrived, and we had to wait 9 days for the other part to come but there are some people that work for Oak furnitureland that deserve a special mention. Firstly, I would like to thank and give a special mention to Kyle that works in Customer service in Swindon. Kyle went above and beyond when our initial delivery was cancelled and rang me back to try and get the delivery arranged before Christmas, thank you Kyle!! Also special thanks go to Jan and Damyian for a brilllant premium delivery service. They were helpful and professional and very friendly and assembled our sofa and took all the packaging away afterwards.”

“Recently bought a whole new set of bedroom furniture. Sad that the salesman had no authority to make discounts given the size of the purchase however the price was clear. I think a business shows it’s true colours when things don’t go to plan. The goods were delivered on the agreed day (purchased in August, delivered in October) and with preceding emails and phone calls to keep me informed. Once I had unpacked it all I realised the bookcase was too big. It all fit, I had measured, but it didn’t look right aesthetically. I rang the company and asked if I could return the big bookcase and have the smaller one instead. This was no problem. There is a returns fee clearly posted on the website which was knocked off the refund of the price difference between the two items but I was not charged another delivery fee. The day after delivery/collection I had an email saying my refund had been processed but may take a few days to appear. The next day it showed on my credit card account. The whole process was so smooth. I would definitely use this company again and not hesitate to recommend them. The furniture itself is gorgeous and I’m really happy with it.”

“Ordered a Gplan Seattle 3+2+1 suite. Addy Khan searved us and was very helpfull and knowledgeable about the product. He impressed enough that I made a seperate trip there just to deal with him. I Highly recommend Furniture Village Chelmsford and especially Addy Khan. Will use for any future needs.”

“Went on website to look for dining room Unit began to go thru order process Then at end realised it was 12 weeks Delivery abd 99 pound for a slot of my choice. Or 50 pound standard delivery Declined and found the sane looking oak unit in stock with another supplier abd free delivery. Turned up 2 weeks later Go elsewhere”

“Had our dining table and chairs for a year now and really happy. Service in showroom was friendly and professional with no hard sell for extras. On delivery 1 chair was damaged and after just one call we had a replacement within 48 hours. Just before Christmas, we noticed a crack in a panel on the table. They asked for a photo, we sent it and they replaced the whole table, no quibble. I see they are taking some stick over the amount of packaging??? Product needs to be protected in transit. We separated the cardboard and other materials and took them to our local recycling centre to make sure they were disposed of properly. You can't put ALL of the responsibility on the supplier. Next time I want some oak, I will go to them again.”

“When I placed my order we had been flooded so I asked them to make the delivery date 3 months ahead as I was unsure when I would be ready to receive it.I emailed my request for an earlier delivery and was called back by Paula. She restored my faith in customer service as she went above and beyond to make sure we got our order earlier. Thank you Paula . All customer service advisors should take a leaf out of your book.”

“I WENT TO OAK FURNITURE SAT 2 AUGUST I KNEW WHAT I WANTED THE MANAGER CAME UP TO ME IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER TOOK ME OVER TO SEE THE BED I WANTED EXPLAINED HOW IT WENT TOGETHER TOLD ME IT WOULD BE IN 5 WEEKS GAVE ME A VERY CONVIENIANT TIME SLOT I WAS THEN APPROACH BY A LOVELY ORIENTAL LADY WHO WORKS IN STORE WITH A HOT DRINK ICEING ON THE CAKE WOW WAS SHE GORGES LOVE TO SEE HER GAIN OAK FURITURE AT STOKE YOU SHOULD BE PROUD GOOD TEAM WELL DONE AARON MANAGER”

“We ordered 6 dining chairs to go with our oak table as our faux leather chairs had cracked. We also ordered an oak tv stand. These were ordered from branch in Milton Keynes. Delivery was due yesterday between 10.30 and 1.30 and we were told the driver would telephone one hour before delivery, which he did. Furniture arrived at 10.20 in large boxes very well packed. Very pleased with whole experience and furniture is excellent.”
