“On our first visit to your show room we encountered Steve who was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately on our return trip he was busy. My mother ordered dining table and chairs and paid extra to have a specified date as she lives on Isle of Man and was over for a quick visit so needed it delivered before she went back and therefore could take it back with her. I ordered a wardrobe and feel that I was bullied into buying the 5 years accident and damage cover as your show room sales person would not let up on it. After I agreed to buy it, he then started trying to get me to pay extra for specified delivery and informed me that if I was notified of a delivery date and was not able to receive it I would be charged £40.00 for another delivery date and that I would only be given 24 hours notice of delivery. Another bullying tactic. If it was not for the fact that your furniture is good quality, being in a sale and interest free credit, I would of told him to stick the wardrobe where the sun does not shine and now I am mad with myself for agreeing to buy the 5 year cover.”

“I just wanted to say how happy I am with the service that Oak Furniture land have given me. I needed something to store paperwork and bits and pieces. I had previously bought a sideboard from another high street shop, but this had literally fallen apart (flat pack, you get what you pay for). So I wanted something much more substantial and sturdy. I chose the small Bevel sideboard. I went to the Brighton store and was made very welcome. They showed me the sideboard that I was interested in. Being able to see the product put my mind at ease, as there is only so much you can find out from a website. The drawers were especially sturdy, with proper wooden bases, so had no fear of them collapsing in the future. The sales assistant showed me that they kept tins of furniture wax in the drawers, far heavier than anything I would put in them, so that really gave me confidence. I also ordered a tin of wax to take care of the sideboard. I wanted the sideboard to be delivered on a specific day which was no problem. On the day in question, I received a phone call from the delivery guys to say they were on their way. When they arrived they placed it in my hallway. Once unpacked, I attached the draw and cupboard door handles and waxed the sideboard. I now have a handsome, useful piece of furniture which I can see will last for many years. You get what you pay for and this is worth every penny. Thank you Oak Furniture Land.”
