“The product is excellent, cannot fault it at all. But the service we got from oak furniture land does not match the price that they charge. The sales person was pushy, did not explain what would happen to the delivery, took our money and just wanted us out of the shop. We just got told the delivery will be in a few days. Then when the product was ready, someone called us to say it's ready, we need to be in during the week. We work Monday - Friday 9-5:30pm so it was pretty much impossible to have a delivery arranged unless we took a holiday for during the week. If we were told at the stage of purchase that delivery is definitely unavailable on a weekend, purchase wouldn't have been made.”

“Ordered five items of furniture, which is well made at a good price. The only complaint is that the coffee table top had a variable lacquer finish. The supplier is providing a technician to rectify the problem.”

“We were made to feel very welcome. Staff were attentive but did not pressurise us in any way. I can only say that the sales girl who dealt with us was excellent and was credit to the company.”

“Excellent customer service skills. Quality products. I purchased a Bed Suite for a pretty price! Friends & family have commented on it every time "where did you get it, I want one too". Posturepedic matteres, mattress protectors, pillows & high quality varnish. Quick delivery too!”

“New Sofa & Chair are very comfortable. Recliners work very well & quietly.Cupboard for hallway is excellent & side lamp was a real bonus. Delivered on time with nothing wrong with it all -- Great Thanks”

“Delivery was awful just dumped in living room . With all packaging on etc , my wife had to put furniture feet on etc as I have had hip replacement. When phoned delivery men to explain need there help , he said would call back in 5 mins obviously heard nothing , then they didn't pick up the phone .”

“We were given a slot which was spot on & the two delivery guys were very helpful & assembled the two pieces of furniture which was very much appreciated, We've been to Oakland 2-3 times now & i can't see us using anyone else in the future to be honest, excellent friendly service & above all top quality furniture”
