ofl-7895191 Desk and bookcase. Two burly blokes brought it in for which I paid extra. All boxed up in cardboard which says "keep for returns". Couldn't even move it, let alone unpackage it. Rang customer service. Polite but unhelpful. 5.3ft 125 lbs. What do you want me to do?

I RANG TELFORD OAK FURNITURELAND SEVERAL TIMES ENQUIRING ABOUT THE STOCK OF A CERTAIN RANGE OF A 7 DRAWER CHEST OF DRAWERS FOR OUR SPARE BEDROOM. EVERY TIME I CALLED THE GENTLEMAN I SPOKE WITH ALWAYS CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY STOCK. LUCKILY TODAY I CALLED AND THE ONE I WANTED WAS IN STOCK SO THE GENTLEMAN PUT A RESERVE LABEL ON IT. WE HAD TO TRAVEL 30 MILES BUT IT WAS WORTH IT THE SERVICE WAS BRILLIANT THE PERSON WHO SERVED US REMEMBERED ME CALLING SEVERAL TIMES . THANK YOU TO RYAN AT THE TELFORD STORE FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE.

We where going to spend 1600 pounds but the they wanted to charge us for two deliveries on the same day. He would not move from this point so we just walked out. Good salesman tactic

Abysmal service!! I've been looking for ages for a large solid wood extendable table to seat my ever growing family and was so excited when I found exactly what I was looking for in our local Sheffield Store. The salesman (Barry - I think) was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we were offered a quick delivery time of 10 days later. We also paid for premium delivery and the 5 year insurance to make our lives easier. The first table arrived and I was told that it had to be returned because the bolt holes were drilled incorrectly and the inner mechanism of the table was damaged. I might add that the delivery guys had no tools with them to undo the packaging!! I also asked them to fit the protective pads to the chair feet to prevent scratching my floor but they refused, saying that i should ask the drivers that bring the replacement table. 7 days later the replacement table was delivered and again I asked the delivery guys to fit the protective pads but I was told to do it myself whilst they unpacked everything. Not so much an issue but this service was offered to me by Barry in store at the point of sale. There was a large, visible crack in the table top which according to customer services on seeing photos was unrepairable. The table was left with me and another top was ordered with a delivery date 8 days later. I was promised by customer service that the table top would be quality checked in the warehouse prior to delivery. Delivery number 3 arrived and the delivery guys, knowing my history, advised me that they were going to unpack and check the replacement top before bringing it into my property and dismantling the damaged one to return. Two minutes later they were knocking on my door to say that the replacement had to be returned, it was riddled with wood worm and that they couldn't risk bringing it into the house. He showed me a worm head which he said was an indication they the table must be riddled in it!! There was also a small area that he said had obviously been repaired. There were quality checked stickers on the packaging but I find it hard to believe this was true!! Table top number 4 was ordered for delivery to me yesterday. I explained to the delivery guys when they arrived that I'd like them to check the table top before bringing it into the house for wood worm and/or damage. True to form, 5 minutes later he was saying that this too should be returned because he'd found several holes. I agreed after I'd had a look as this table isn't cheap and I want to receive it in perfect condition. I await the arrival of delivery number 5 on Wednesday next week as I do really like this table after seeing it in the showroom. I have had the premium delivery charge returned to me and customer services have also given me the option for a full refund and cancel the order or 10% discount @ £230. I'm offended by this as not only have I not received the table in the quality I deserve and promised but I've also had to take 5 days holiday from my annual leave - a full wasted week of my entitlement!! I'm yet to make my decision, I want to see what delivery number 5 brings next week.

Avoid Avoid Avoid if you don’t want a terrible after service or a refund if the goods are faulty NO CUSTOMER CARE !!!!!!!!!!

Ordered two side tables beginning of December still not received them but their delivery date if 4 weeks on their website. Don't trust them

Ordered a wardrobe and paid a PREMIUM for full assembly. We didn’t even make it that far, as the product comes fully assembled and won’t fit through the door or up the stairs. To be clear, this is a standard to large sized house, and if it can’t fit into ours, then it’s not going to fit in 90% of homes. This was apparently the THIRD time today the delivery team has had the same issue with products too large to fit through a STANDARD sized door. Why would you sell something that can’t fit into MOST houses. We assumed that if the box itself couldn’t fit, then the parts could come out and be brought to the room individually (we did pay a premium to have it assembled IN THE ROOM, after all - not for it to come pre-assembled). Fine…it doesn’t fit, so we have to send it back. But on top of the inconvenience and disappointment, they won’t return the full delivery fee because they say they delivered as promised AND they charge a £100 return fee, which they’ve told me is clear on their website. I asked where it’s ‘clear’…it’s buried within their T&Cs. So technically there, but clear? Not a chance. So in summary: they send things knowing full well they won’t fit standard houses, because they regularly have people sending them back for this exact reason. The website is extremely misleading about the fact that the product comes pretty much fully assembled, so pieces can’t be taken out of the box and brought into a room. And if that isn’t sketchy enough, they then charge you an arm and a leg to take the product away.

I ordered two chest of drawers and two wardrobes. The quality of the furniture is appalling. One of the wardrobe doors fell off, the 1st replacement had a scratch and the final one had a broken hanging pole. All had flaking paint and loose screws. Eventually I agreed to take another range (which to be fair was better). But my main complaint is the customer service: 1. Refusing to take faulty items back when it is clear during delivery they aren't useable 2. Long waits on the phone lines and dropped calls 3. Call centre is noisy to extent cant hear my own customer service advisor over the others (and could hear details of other peoples complaints) 4. Promised to quality check before items dispatched but cant be the case as faulty goods delivered. 5. Protracted system of resolving issues taking hours of my time and requirement for real time photos. 6. Flow on phones means you have to repeat your story and security every time you get transferred. 7. When I raised concerns via complaints process they told me they couldn't communicate the outcome of the complaint (which was raising concern about safety of one of their lines) 8. Waited for delivery of final wardrobe to be told only part of it would be delivered about 4 hours before the delivery was due. Sent multiple confusing texts and emails telling me that it was great I could book my delivery online. I have wasted days of time waiting for 7 delivery and collections for 4 items of furniture and making around 6 calls to customer services of around an hour each time. There was little apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Some staff told me they are laden down with complaints and returns. The business cannot surely continue to operate in this way. Their model is not fit for purpose and I would say the business is at serious risk as a result. I would avoid at all costs.

Awful experience all round Terrible service and after care bought two sofas in January delivered in April one was broken so have had four attempts to replace each time they deliver the wrong colour sofa so doesn't match the other one the last time they delivered two new sofas they come in two halves so four halves in total three were matching one was a different colour they said just take one of the original halves from the original order and put it with the new ones even though the original are now nearly six months old. Terrible customer service on the phone called a liar by one of the managers have now cancelled whole order and gone elsewhere do yourself a favour and never shop here

Good customer service. Great design But poor quality. Their no verneer in here makes you think its good quality. Unfortunately only the surfaces you see are smooth but when you look inside I would say my garden shed was built better. The craftsmen ship is awful

Terrible, I ordered a full bedroom set of furniture around six years ago. After less than a year the top part of wood started to expand and develop deep cracks. A technician came out. I had maintained it well . I was then informed this is what wood does, they were not replacing it . It has got worse over the years and looks awful. The paint is Terrible. No sealing. It marks terribly. The slightest knock and the wood chips. If you are looking for furniture which gets wrecked at ease. A customer service who don't care once they have your money . This is the place to go. Avoid at all costs. You do not get long lasting quality furniture from this place .

Totally disgusting! Two settees ordered 6th Feb Advised 16 week wait Payments deducted as three payments No contact from Co. We contacted them around 2nd week in June, told sofa’s we’re in stock and we could have them 13th June p/m Had our old furniture taken away. Waited until the end of the time slot provided. We called them, told we could not have these settees, not available. No apology or explanation, was told they had texted us to tell us. Lies, we did not provide mobile numbers. No further contact from this awful company. Never experienced such bad service!!!

Disgusting delivery service, furniture just dumped in living the room with no chance of checking for damage. TV unit damaged on checking, numerous phone calls to the so called customer service (absolutely disgusting service) Sofa ordered on the 23rd January delivered today 19th June. Once they have your money they really have no interest in sorting out problems. The problem with the TV unit is still not resolved, legal action will be taken if we deem this necessary. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE PURCHASE FROM THEM. AVOID LIKE THE PLAQUE.

I’m gutted to read so many bad reviews about Oakfurniture Land. And regrettably I’m one of the victim too. Placed an order in March 2022 and paid full. Dining table arrived on 16 May 2022- missing 4 dining chairs and a damaged bench. I have to rebooked my chairs delivery for 7 times in the last 3 weeks and yet they keep letting us down. Homeserve technician who is suppose to come around to fix the damage bench didn’t turn up on appointment date. I have lost count how many times was wasted waiting for them and the amount of calls I’ve dialled to complain. I feel cheated by them for paying full and yet not reccing the complete set of furniture. Their promises of next delivery would be the last means nothing and it’s a lie. They deceived so many customers and the management should review themselves on how well the run the company. Utterly disgusting customer service.

Do not buy from this place payed £500… Do not buy from this place payed £500 for bed after 8 month using be all paint pealing off on head board there said there nothing there can do it says bed for life on add plz shop some way ells thanks

My friend has had a delivery today of a side board. They had 10 mins notice it was on its way. They took it into the living room, left it in the middle of the room, upside down. Her husband is disabled and has been unable to get his wheel chair passed it to get to the bathroom. She is still waiting for a call from them to say when they a going to come and change it to the right way up. No way can she do it. She's only tiny. Absolutely disgusting. I hope they sort it soon before there is an accident.
