I called because my direct debit was about to be increased following an Octopus payment review. I accept that the revised amount was accurate but had reduced my direct debit in April because a historic balance had built up on the account that I was looking to claw back. After discussion with Lauren it was clear that Octopus are flexible. We agreed to increase the direct debt to a round sum at the level recommended but that the balance on the account would be refunded.

Niall was extremely helpful at resolving a billing issue for us: he explained the issue clearly, worked through our options in terms of managing our account, and listened to our concerns about how the issue had impacted us.

Octopus 's Customer Service people have consistently replied to my enquiries and difficulties with exemplary courtesy and helpful direction. Jamie-Leigh has been exceptionally focussed with regard to my latest bill difficulty and I am very grateful. Shirley Burch

I spoke to a guy named Aadam who was extremely helpful and went through everything very clearly. Impressed by the speed at which the call was answered and that there was minimal AI nonsense. Top guy and top service.

My wife accidentally put in wrong meter readings which would have given us a very large bill, so i put new meter readings in and gave Octopus a ring and spoke to a lovely lady called Beth who looked at my account and resolved the issue, also they answered the phone very quickly which is unusual this day and age, anyway thanks again Beth as it was a bit of a worry until i spoke to you.

A family member recently passed, and I'm in the process of notifying their various accounts. It's not been an easy process so far, to say the least. I rang Octopus today, expecting it to be a long, difficult call. I got through immediately to Tayla. She was kind and helpful, making the process as easy as possible. I can't speak more highly of the customer service I've received from Tayla at Octopus in this difficult time. Many thanks.
