“Octopus obtained my bank details from me under false pretenses, as i asked for refund, as few hundred pounds in credit , into my bank account, this never happened, when complaining, management told me a direct debit had been set up using my bank details without my knowledge or consent (I pay standing order) . Management and call handlers lie repeatedly, and still no refund. Corrupt company avoid”
“Called Octopus, my call was answered by Ross in a matter of a few seconds. I have a fixed rate tariff on both gas and electricity. I wanted to know if there was a cheaper tariff available. Ross looked for me and said that there was a slightly cheaper gas tariff. So he put us on this slightly cheaper tariff and everything was done and dusted within a couple of minutes. Super efficient.”
“My call was answered very quickly and with relatively little preamble which is always good The lady who answered my call didn’t give her name ( which I think is always good to do) but she actively listened to my query, and was most helpful in answering it. Her telephone manner was extremely good being both warm and friendly. As someone with a background in customer care, I’d say it was almost exemplary. A good company to deal with.”

“Dear Nat let me start by saying that I was answered fairly quickly and the lady was helpful .She sent me a copy of past bills and at the end it appears im over £90.00 pounds in debit to you. I do feel however as the gas readings which I have faithfully sent each month-my meter is too far from your reading machine- there have been inaccuracies in your charging. As the fault lies with Octopus am I due any compensation. Thank you L Geddes”
