Hazel supported on a billing query in a professional manner very quickly. It also took only a few seconds to get through to her! Great service.

Terry has been fab today, I called through because I am moving across to Octopus energy soon. He answered all the questions I had and helped to make sure I was on the best package. He is polite and seems like a credit to the company.

After an initial mix up on my start with Octopus I had to call up to try and figure out what had happened. Luckily Terry S answered the phone and instantly put me at ease! It was complicated my end but made it sound easy to deal with on his. My account is now sorted and he has even said once he is back from holiday he will review my account his end to check everything is still going smoothly. As someone that is more of an emailer than a caller, Terry has made me feel much better about calling anytime I ever need anything!

I called Octopus as I have been moving home and had a few niggles to sort out which I was struggling to get resolved through email. Britney Moyo was excellent. I run a customer services department as part of my job and know how hard it is to get enthusiastic, customer focused and solutions based people. Britney was a pleasure and brought energy to what could be reasonably mundane queries. She will go far and I hope the company rewards staff like this to show others that good works pays off. A trip to the Caribbean perhaps?

The lady who helped me today was amazing. She stayed on the line with me for about 20 minutes while I checked my meter and was so patient She was really kind and supportive great customer service!

I’ve recently moved home and had the fun task of getting Octopus transferred over to the new address from my previous address. Long story short, our letting agents provided incorrect information and it turns out the Octopus supply had been cut off when we were told it was still active. I called up to get this activated, and Carys took ownership of my issue and got Octopus activated within 48 hours. Carys kept me updated via email and provided a swift response to any query I had, providing fantastic customer service along the way! This is why we love Octopus and will continue to keep taking them with us wherever we go! Fantastic job Carys, you made this so much easier than I expected. You’re great at your job and you’re an absolute credit to Octopus energy!

Shocking company. .. they ignore any complaint you make. Monthly I read my gas and elec meters. Never failed. I knew my costs, I could budget knowing my costs etc. Octopus then said they had to attach smart meters to both the gas and elec meter (it’s the law apparently) but would keep them ‘dumb’. Suddenly the elec one came ‘alive’ (it remains a mystery as to why). I have asked that both meters are made ‘dumb’ or both are set to ‘live’ just so I can budget. Seems octopus can’t answer emails.. or action my request. 
They remove the email chain, have a different person replying each time there is a reply (if there is one). There is no continuity… or consistency re response time (again if there is a response). They are very good at collecting money from my bank account though.. hence the one star.

Called Octopus as wondered whether my meter was working OK. Got through very quickly and spoke to Lucy. She listened to my concerns, addressed them in a very professional manner, explaining things in easy to understand terms. Assured me all was OK. I was very pleased with the help I received today, excellent service

Excellent customer care from Octopus unlike waiting on hours with some of the other firms who put on hold listening to automated record play. Spoke to Renu this morning and she was happy to help and answer my queries straightaway. I would happily recommend Octopus.
