“Looking at recent mail catalogs in comparison to those in the past, some categories are getting slimmer, whereas emphasis is larger.on other categories, if that makes any sense. For example, There may be more emphasis on Country and Hip-Hop in one catalog and more on Jazz and Rock in another mail catalog. Even distribution would be nice.”

“I have not bought anything recently from Oldies. Although I used to be a customer for years, last year someone there decided they would not sell to me, because - believe it or not - they had heard something like "there were some criminals in Brazil". I was informed by email. That's really fantastic, because there are criminals ALL OVER THE GLOBE, and there have been since times immemorial. And there ever will be. The largest jailed population of the world resides in the USA, by the way, but that fact alone did not affect my will to keep collecting records from Oldies. It happens I am a 72 year old lawyer; not a criminal. My record collection is 9.000+ item big, so I guess I will die without listening to all my records. Thus, it is not illogical that I should refrain from buying from Oldies anyway. As they won't sell, I won't buy from them again. More than taking offence, this story is totally ridiculous. I keep buying records from every other seller in the world, without seller and buyer ever caring about how many criminals there are in seller's and buyer's countries. Apart from Oldies, no one is setting aside long time customers out of a moronic nonsensical "reason". Thank you.”
