Terrible service in a world filled with other options is why I can't recommend anyone purchase from this site. I made a purchase for multiple movies and my order took over a month to deliver and the one movie I actually wanted was not included, I contacted customer service and was told that the movie I was missing needed 30 days to deliver as it was an over seas item? BUT again my purchase did take over 30 days and the item was not included. Oldies.com then told me they would hold my money for another 30 days AND that was no guarantee that I would even get the item I paid for, then to cap it all they never replied to my request for clarification and instead refunded my money that they were holding without notification. So at the end of the day I never received the product I actually wanted (I only purchased the lot I did to cross the threshold for free shipping) and the order took over 30 days for no reason at all as they never even had the product they sold me. I will never purchase from this company again and I urge you to consider your other online options when purchasing physical media.

The item in question was clearly marked on the product page as a special order title, meaning it must come in from an overseas supplier before it can ship. These items carry estimated lead times and are subject to international transit and customs processing, which can be unpredictable. That information is displayed prior to purchase so customers can make an informed decision. In your direct communication with us, you indicated that you had not noticed the special order designation at the time of purchase. We understand how that can be frustrating, but the designation was present on the listing. When your order shipped, the special order item had not yet arrived from the supplier. During our correspondence, we specifically stated: we would reach out to the issuing supplier for an update, and if it did not appear that we would be receiving the item, we would cancel it right away. You replied in the affirmative to that approach — and that is exactly what we did. When it became clear that fulfillment was unlikely within a reasonable timeframe, the item was cancelled and refunded. We did not hold funds beyond our stated policy, and you were not charged for an item we could not supply. We understand the disappointment when a hard-to-find international title cannot be fulfilled, especially when it was the primary reason for the order. However, we followed our long-standing special order policy and the agreed-upon course of action in this case.

Horrible! Placed large order. Received one small item- and even that was not correct- and none of my other items were ever sent!. Company refused to resolve, despite me contacting them several times. Credit card did chargeback.

After you reported that the package had been stolen after delivery, we provided clear instructions on the next steps and specifically asked that you contact us by phone so a supervisor could assist further. Unfortunately, we never received a follow-up call. Instead, a chargeback was initiated with the credit card issuer before we had the opportunity to complete the review process or explore possible resolutions together. While we understand how frustrating a stolen package can be, once a chargeback is filed, the matter is transferred out of our hands and must be handled through the card issuer. I placed an order on 12/8. It has still yet to be processed or shipped despite being charged. I have reached out to customer service several times with zero response or updates. At this time it appears this site is fraudulent and a scam

Misleading shipping information and poor customer service unfortunately. I selected "premium shipping" (1-3 days) on an item with a caveat revealed after I paid that the 1-3 days estimation was AFTER the item was shipped. I then called to understand the situation, and an employee who couldn't care less (and didn't know a good deal of the company's policies) let me know that it would take 2-4 days for the item to even be shipped -- so if you're paying $15 for 1-3 premium shipping that's truly 3-7 days. He was efficient in finding my order but had the charisma and respect of a potato chip. I'm sure the products are in good condition and shipped well but customer service and shipping costs / advertisement are definitely a 1/5 star.

You placed this order less than 24 hours ago. As indicated, the item that you ordered typically ships 3-5 business days after you place your order. Placed order for several holiday gifts six weeks ago. Received one item in late November. Followed up with the company on whereabouts of the rest of my order. Was told the entire order was “delivered.” They gave the tracking number of the one CD that was sent. Company was extremely uncooperative leading me to believe they have gone downhill. They may offer a large, rare selection, but if they are going to be dishonest and keep money for products they never tender to the customer, this is not reputable. I repeatedly told them the order received was only one CD in small packaging, and they ignored me and did nothing to fulfill my remaining order or accommodate me with a credit. Really felt like this was a business practice of theirs given how rude and dismissive they were.

i got 2 defective movies out of 5 that i ordered. they will not send me any prepaid label and i have to stand in postal lines and put out money for packing materials and to hope they pay me back in the end, i am a disabled vet with a few medical "problems" w/o the added stress. i am paying for things out of my control. i have been a customer for over 10 years. thanks for the loyalty!!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience. I ordered a CD on Sept. 17. I understood I would not be getting it until October because they had to obtain it from overseas. But now it is Nov. 8 and when I check the status, it still says the order is being processed. They charged me on Sept. 17 and almost 8 weeks later, there is no indication of when, or even whether, I will ever receive it. I called and asked to cancel and they refused. When I asked to speak to a manager they out me on hold for so long I eventually hung up. Now it seems I will have to go through my credit card company to get a chargeback. I order CD from discogs all the time and never had a bad experience.

I have been a customer of Oldies for years. Recently they refused to cancel an order they had forgotten to ship for over a month. This is a terrible policy and it will cost them business.

I searched for the movie Kid Boots (1926) starring Eddie Cantor for 35 years. My enjoyment of the movie was hindered by the fact that the DVD went blurry every three minutes! Need I say that a new DVD should be crisp and clear? So far, I am extremely disappointed by the products of Oldies.com to say the least!
