I've been a customer for almost 20 years and their customer service has dwindled significantly since the business was sold 1. Their website has been having technical problems. I get error messages when looking through my order history. It also changed my default shipping address to one I previously deleted.. how it was restored, I have no idea. 2. I placed an order not knowing that my default shipping address was changed. When I called to cancel, the person curtly answered "I cannot cancel it" What kind of e-commerce site is not able to cancel orders 10 minutes after they are placed and are days away from being shipped? I've never had a problem cancelling an order before. The fact that I didn't double check the shipping address is immaterial. It's one thing to not be able to do something that just about any business can do, but not having a polite demeanor on the phone when telling me makes things much worse. They need to fix their website, and hire staff with better telephone manners, and find a way to cancel order placed in error. I go out of my way to patronize smaller businesses but this one has gone downhill, and I'm very disappointed.

Not only was the client support person I spoke to extremely impolite, but one of the movies I ordered was missing.

Talked to Val recently about my order concerning a mistake that was made by her. The wrong quantity was put in on line. When I checked early, I called right away and mentioned it to Val who told me that I had to order separate the other item I wanted & still pay postage on both with a quantity of 2 when I only wanted one

I only ordered 1/3 of what I had intended to order because oldies.com kept changing the price in the cart. The website would show one price as I'm shopping, and then a higher price. When I put an item in my cart. I called them about this and the representative that answered initially insisted this could never happen but then admitted that it was happening when I gave them explicit examples. I don't know if this is an unintentional software bug or intentional deception, but it has led to me distrusting oldies.com. I am still going through the items I purchased. I am happy with what I've unwrapped so far. As a physical media collector and lover of older and independent hard to find movies, I'll likely be back, reluctantly.

The products offered are great. The prices are great. Where Oldies falls short is in the amount of time it takes to ship the order. I can't believe all the reviews that say how quickly they received their order. I placed an order on 12/3/25 and on 12/15/25 I received an email saying my order had shipped. On 12/16/25 I tracked my order on USPS tracking site and was told a shipping label had been created on 12/15/25 but the item was not yet in possession of the Post Office. This has happened the last 2 years at Christmas. Unacceptable and I'm through.

For the price that is charged for the shipping and handling, I would expect the package to arrive a lot quicker than it did.

Hi David, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Your order was received on Saturday, 8/23, when our offices were closed for the weekend, and shipped out promptly on Tuesday, 8/26. USPS delivered it within four business days, ahead of our estimated delivery of 9/8. While the order did arrive faster than promised, we understand how important shipping speed feels, and we’ll continue working to make our process as efficient and cost-effective as possible. We hope, however, that you’ll reconsider your decision to rate us only 2 out of 5 stars, as we did meet—and even exceed—our delivery commitment in this case.

I recently ordered a cd and after updating my billing and shipping I found out that the shipping address was not updated. I emailed and called and was told there was nothing I could do. They couldn't correct my information and they wouldn't cancel the order so I could start again. I'm totally disappointed and will not use this company again.

Great to find different and hard to find items, HOWEVER, bad at customer service, bad at refunding money when appropriate and bad at taking away rewards and credit and discount earned

Placed an order for 15 items during a clearance event. Only received 2 of the items. Was unclear whether other items were coming later or not. Wrote to customer service (which responded within 24 hours) and heard they'd be on backorder for 30 days, so I had hope of fulfillment. However, I got a refund less than 24 hours later, meaning, presumably that I won't be getting any of the other items I ordered. That was a bummer.

I ordered about 25 items. I just received my shipment. There were only 4 items. The rest were canceled. Not good.

Website doesn’t update. Most of my order was out of stock. I was still charged the additional shipping for items that were out of stock and didn’t ship.

I ordered 15 items online which were in stock at the time that I paid for them. When I received my package there were only 11 items in the box. No explanation or apology, etc. I assume that the missing items were out of stock by the time that they shipped my package. They waited almost a week before shipping my order so its no wonder that some of the items that I ordered were out of stock.
