“Ordered a book and received a downloadable link to the book for me to print out or read off my laptop. Not what i wanted at all.
Tried to contact them on two occasions with no response.
Avoid would be my advice.”
“Having seen an exercise machine on the television we went online to look what was available and came across several types. Decided to buy a particular model which was being sold via On Buy. Frankly they were unknown to us but decided to go ahead and buy.
In short it proved to be a good decision as the the item was delivered as promised well packed and on time. All round an excellent service.”

Not only did I receive the wrong product, nothing at all like the photo was advertised but I was charged more than it was on sale for on the website. Really disgusting, as this product is totally useless to me and took over 3 weeks to arrive. Very misleading company, shady as it looked as though it was in the UK only to find that it was despatched from China!!! I would NEVER have order this product had I known this. Bitterly disappointed. Tried to attach photo to show the picture on the website compared to what I actually received but it was no surprise - it wouldn’t allow me to.”
“I made my first purchase from Onbuy - the board game, 'Ticket to Ride - Europe', the seller had 5 stars. A week later I received the game, it is counterfeit and is made from thin, flimsy, cheaply copied components with dark badly scanned artwork and no registration number. I have an authentic original and the difference is vast. The seller was uncontactable and I quickly found out that Onbuy washes its hands of purchases and refers you to Paypal if you have an issue. After 1 month of fighting this through Paypal I've been offered a refund on the condition that I return the game to CHINA, at my own expense...the cost for which is about the same as that of the game ~£30. Appauled by the wilfull allowance of fraud by this marketplace, will never ever use again....AVOID!!”
