“It’s a scam. Fake electrical goods that when you challenge you have to go through the seller (not onbuy) to refund and they never respond.
If you’re really committed to buying here (I wouldn’t recommend it) - do it through a PayPal account so you can use them to get a refund if needed.
Absolutely shocking practice and I’m amazed this company have funding. How they have such high ratings is also beyond me - they must pay for them.”

First your product was faulty, then the replacement came and I was promised 10% refund which has been avoided and still not paid. Today I have waited all morning for then to collect only to be told by them that the driver was not advised how big the package was. “i ordered a panoxyl face wash from here to clear up acne i am very insecure about. i heard this was a really good product so i bought it from this website as this is one of the only websites that offer this product in the uk. i was so excited when it came but when i opened it up and had a further look the bottle was half full and i could very clearly tell this was a fake lookalike. this is VERY dangerous and can be harmful to skin as the ingredients are untrue on the bottle. this can cause very serious problems. i got a chemical burn from this product. i have tried contacting customer service although i haven’t heard anything. i would like a refund. don’t bother with this store.”

I ordered some lights 6 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived I enquired as to why and was told because I chose free deliver and the covid pandemic I would need to wait anther 20 days its an absolute disgrace don't buy anything if its free deliver because they make you wait months I don't even want the light now but I am determined they will be delivered”
“By far the worst experience I have ever had with an online site and I frequently buy online. I bought a mini waffle maker which within seconds of plugging in burst into flames. Thankfully I had a fire blanket as my young son and I got such a fright and it was raging out of control very quickly. I have sent numerous messages to one buy clearly stating i want a refund and not to send another one, to which they keep offering to send me a new one. They then finally agreed to refund but then nothing. When I chased my refund we are now back to them repeatedly offering to send me another waffle maker. I couldn’t be more clearer that I don’t want it or trust it so I can only guess they are trying to frustrate me and hope I stop trying. Importantly this product is very dangerous and should be removed from sale and investigated but they are still selling it! What does that say about them. Avoid at all costs. I have reported to PayPal and they will follow up with them.”

“I bought a phone on the website assuming that they are legitimate platform. However after having problems with the phone I was advised to contact seller directly and resolve the problem as the phone was still under warranty. I contacted the seller and returned the phone for repair / replacement. It has been more than 6 weeks that I am left without any phone and when I contacted OnBuy to help me out as my phone is still not returned; their response was that sorry they can't help. Now I have lost more than £450 and left helpless. Do NOT trust this site as they won't help you if there is problem with the purchase.”

“I would give no stars if i could, if you live in n ireland stay well away from this company. I wish id read reviews before purchasing a solar light for just under £5.00 there was a £200.00 delivery charge which was not clear on purchasing email.
Onbuy we are just at most 1 hour flight i could have come to collect in person for less than that delivery charge not made clear purchase from China
