“I attempted to purchase a new Echo Show 8, from Onbuy. I was sent a refurbished Echo 5. I complained and was promised a replacement. I waited for over a week, during which I kept getting told it had been sent, I was even given a fake tracking number. I then requested a refund, which the response was to then send another refurbished Echo 5! Onbuy have also just brushed me off, I just keep getting the same response. I have used Onbuy a couple of times and there's never been an issue but the way they've dealt with this issue is atrocious!”

“I bought a pair of "Sony WF-C700N Wireless Headphones" from OnBuy. They were a good price and WhatHi-Fi gave these headphones a glowing review, and I've gone by their reviews before and have never been let down.
The headphone took ages to arrive which wasn't a big issue, but bear in mind if you're in a hurry for whatever item you're thinking of purchasing.
My issue is the item itself. I strongly suspect it to be counterfeit due to the poor sound quality.
I contacted Onbuy for a refund and they offered me 10% discount on my purchase to keep them. I said no, they're unusable due to the poor sound quality, so they offered me 15% discount which I also refused. They then asked to send send photo evidence........of the poor sound quality!?!?!
This company is a joke and I wished I'd bought these direct from Sony and paid the difference.

“I totally don't recommend this platform for sellers. They sent me relentless emails asking me to pay and start selling. After I paid, they came up with a new set of requirements for which I tried to send verifiable information. They suddenly informed me that they could not verify me. I asked for a refund, but they refused to issue it. I posted a review on trustpilot, someone from Onbuy responded in a responsible manner depicting that they were sorry and that someone would contact me. Instead, they contacted trust pilot to flag my review!”

“Be careful buying from here, I bought from on buy for the first time in November for a Christmas present for my son. It took over a month to arrive, package was battered, the item was a fake. I have returned the item with full tracking, the item has arrived back to them over a week ago (to TEMU) I would have never have bought it if I had known. The photos also made the item look like a real not a fake. I am still waiting for my money back, I am getting the feeling that I won’t see the money again and it was £52. Not great at all.”

“Ordered a perfume for my partner which was due to be delivered my fed ex.the driver left the package outside my workplace and falsely signed the delivery note. Even after supplying evidence that my workplace was closed and text messages I received from the FedEx driver stating "the business was closed so ge left it outside", onbuy said its not our problem and have refused to help remedy the matter. They referred me to FedEx and I can't get in contact with anyone there. This was s Christmas present and I am now £70+ out of pocket. I would avoid them at all costs, I used them as it was for a discontinued perfume and this was one of the only places I could find it at a reasonable price.”
