The mechanic/driver who came to assess my car was REC 085 know as Rob. Such a very helpful gentleman who did everything he could he even too me to get some performance my car. I have used this service before and they are very prompt to arrive and always helpful. Thak you One Call.

Service was good with the recovery truck reaching us within 2 hours. Even after a change of location due to highways agency initally recovery us from road works on the motorway

I started out with a flat battery which wouldn’t jump start so a breakdown truck was needed. I spoke to a lady on the phone who was incredibly reassuring and patient the whole time , particularly as I was worried that I had to start the whole process off again in the morning. She reassured me the night before on what to say on the phone and she was extremely helpful the next morning as she remembered who I was and arranged everything very smoothly without any hassle. Things went exactly as she said they would. Craig was outstanding when he arrived. Extremely helpful and friendly and expertly reversed the truck round 2 very narrow corners as the car wouldn’t jump start. Got the car on the trailer without any trouble and delivered safely and efficiently. I suffer from severe chronic anxiety and they both made the experience far easier to deal with.

Everything went good The man who came was very good and polite The only problem was that my wife is disabled and could not have got into the breakdown vehicle but as it turned out the gentleman got the car started so I was able to drive the car home although the battery was dead so as long as I kept the engine running I was able to get home Thank you

We brokedown and had to be towed home. It was a stressful situation but James who came and collected us and checked the car over was top class. He went above and beyond in what we were expecting eg. to just be carted home. But he reassured us by checking the car over that it would be an inexpensive fix. But it was his genuine kindness, making sure we got in the cab and got warm, even asked us if we wanted anything in the shop. I went from feeling very anxious to feeling very safe and looked after. The world could do with more folk like James! So thank you!

Online reporting was a very effective and quick way to start my request for assistance. I was called back quickly and a cheerful mechanic arrived well inside the one hour window. Unfortunately he didn't have the right tools to replace my flat tyre with the spare and mine weren't strong enough to do the job, hence only giving 4 stars, but he was very helpful and returned my car and myself and passenger home. It would have been more difficult if i had needed to get somewhere else before going home, in which case having the correct tools would have been handy, but in the event I was happy to just go home. Another friendly mechanic arrived first thing the next morning and fitted my spare quickly so I was up and running immediately. Very good service all round

Absolutely spot on, my brakes failed in the Peak District after a hack job by Halfords last week. The representatives were quick to respond, arranged recovery and offered to contact any family or friends. Fantastic service. Forget the AA and RAC and all those other corporate clowns. This is simple service exactly as it should be.

It’s now 13:36 on a Friday afternoon. I first reported my breakdown to One Call at 9:15 this morning. Received an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of 12:47 which I was unhappy about but sat in my car and waited. At 13:05 I rang One Call again to check why they still hadn’t arrived. Was given a new ETA of 14:30!! I was advised that someone should have been in touch to tell me about the new ETA but they hadn’t. They also advised that they would need to cancel that booking if I wanted them to check if another agent was available at an earlier time and they couldn’t guarantee that the new agent would get here any earlier. After making a complaint I received a call back to say someone would arrive by 14:00. The new agent has since called to assure me they are on their way. Hopefully I’ll get to the garage before it closes for the weekend 🤦‍♀️

Excellent customer service by somebody who took the time to understand my predicament. After being advised a very exact arrival time (12:36, about an hour after my initial call) and I was very pleasantly surprised when the breakdown truck arrived after only 30 minutes. Breakdown guy was very professional and the car loaded within about 10 minutes of arrival. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the service provided!

The whole process went smoothly from my initial phone call to the arrival of the mechanic. There was minimal waiting time and the man attending my call was friendly, helpful and efficient with my car then taken to my local garage.

Extra cost of £60 for use of skids, due to mechanic unable to release handbrake. Most cars today have electric handbrakes if you have an electrical fault and cannot release handbrake how can that be classed as an extra to the recovery.I felt I was forced to pay for something that was (and should be) part of the normal recovery process. I feel very unhappy and disappointed
