I ordered a Joie Tourist stroller from Online4Baby because they were cheaper than their competitors and my maternity pay has sadly come to an end. Initially I was quite impressed, ordering was easy, the delivery was prompt, product looked ok upon first inspection so I couldn’t wait to test it out with my 15 month old. I decided to take it out at nap time, reclined the seat and it worked a charm. My daughter fell into a lovely dreamy sleep and we had a lovely walk - that is until she woke up and wanted to sit up. I tried to put the seat upright however pushing it as far as it would go it was still considerably reclined. Pair this situation with a curious, headstrong toddler and you have a disaster! When we got home, I tried once more to push the seat into an upright position with no success. I didn’t think it was unreasonable to expect that a modern day stroller should be capable of this so I assumed it was faulty and emailed the customer service team. The initial response was in good time, the representative asked for images and a video to demonstrate the issue I was having to enable them to investigate further. I replied with the requested items and waited a further 9 days for a response before sending another email to follow up. They replied to inform me that someone would be in touch within 24-48 hours to discuss my query. Someone claiming to be a manager called me the next day. She said that they had looked at the information I had presented and there was nothing wrong with the stroller, the product was designed this way and isn’t supposed to sit upright. She also said I should have checked it sat upright before I took it outside. Now call me a crazy person but to assume a stroller sits up would be like assuming it had wheels - One would just expect that surely?! I explained that this rendered the product unfit for purpose. She said that it was my own personal opinion, some would not see this as an issue and and they would not be assisting any further. I tried to further question how they had come to this conclusion about the strollers design and she was kept repeating the same phrase “I cannot assist you any further” like a robot, suggesting she wasn’t actually listening to me and wasn’t interested in explaining herself to me. I asked to speak to someone else to which she responded “There is no one else, I’m the manager”. I’ve worked in customer service myself for most of my adult life so I know that there is always someone else...... she denied that there was and said we were going around in circles and she wouldn’t be assisting further. I asked her if she had children herself and if she could relate, at which point she said she did, that I was rude and that she was ending the call. I told her I wasn’t finished discussing my query, she told me to put a complaint in writing. Unsurprisingly and rudely, she hung up. Her manner was extremely unbothered and patronising. It was almost as though she was quite happy that my written complaint was not not going to be taken seriously which didn’t give me much confidence in the management team but all the same, I did as she abruptly told me and I wrote a complaint and requested that someone reasonable contact me. The very same day, the general manager called me back but sadly I missed it. He left a voicemail but by the time I got to my phone their lines were closed. He tried again the next day which sort of gave me the idea that he was actually keen to resolve my query but I missed that call too. I asked my husband to call him back when their lines opened, just for my own peace of mind that I am not a rude, confused alien from outer space, expecting too much from a £100 stroller and the customer service team. He has just got off the phone and confirmed my suspicions that I am not. He said pretty much exactly the same as the previous “manager” did and that they would not be assisting further. My husband asked if they would be continuing selling products which are unfit for use and he responded “I’d appreciate it if you didn’t speak of our products in this manner” suggesting that they would be continuing to sell this and he was backing it up. He basically told my husband no refund, no exchange, no goodwill gesture and to “have a nice day now” so we can see where the staff get their unhelpful and patronising manner from. Advice to potential customers: Avoid like the plague. Buy cheap, buy twice and waste your time and energy trying to resolve the situation. Advice to Online4Baby: Check the products you’re selling are not in fact junk and perhaps enrol on a communications seminar when this lockdown is over to learn how to properly address the customers that have so far kept you in business. “Have a nice day” does not equal customer service.

I should have read the reviews before ordering from online 4 babies my pushchairs only 5 weeks old I have problems with the brakes and problem with a wheel . The wheel is rusty in only 5 weeks and it's making a terrible noise . Was out shopping with my baby I could not release the brakes the pram would not move I had to literally drag the pushchair back home thank god passerby help me. I will be taking this to trading standards if I do not get a full refund should be getting a call on the 14/12/20. Online baby can't get away with sending out faulty goods.

If I could give zero stars I would! I also wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. 1.4 stars overall out of 5 speaks volumes!! Customer service is absolutely appalling. No empathy whatsoever! Every single person I have spoken to have spoken over me; My mental health has been triggered on numerous occasions due to this. I placed an order with this company hoping to receive a car seat for my baby that is due to be delivered any time. After placing the order, I realised the car seat I purchased was not suitable for my vehicle. I refused delivery with dpd for this reason. Dpd then proceeded to take a picture of me refusing the delivery with my door ajar stating the item was delivered. When I received this decieptful email from DPD I contacted online for baby straight away. The parcel was not on my doorstep any longer and I wondered if the courier had in fact taken it as I had asked. Since this issue arose I have been dealt with so disgustingly by this company. They have no interest in helping me. Only to say the issue has nothing to do with them and that they only deal with ‘facts’. And the picture of me refusing delivery is evidence it was received. DPD themselves, however agree that the picture is not proof of delivery. There own proof of delivery on their website states: “we won’t ask you to sign for your parcel, we will take a photo of it instead in your open doorway as proof it’s been delivered” I have tried to liaise with this company and resolve my issue. I have cried and explained my experience and worries. To which most people would be understanding and display a level of empathy! I have spoken to members of the team, a ‘general manager’ and also a ‘legal representative’ apparently. All of which have poor customer service skills and a vile attitude. They have now stated that they will not be answering any calls from myself anymore as I have contacted them so much. What do they expect?! I am short £159, without my goods, due to give birth without a car seat! And have been advised by both DPD and the police to contact them to update them of what I know now and encourage them to reopen an investigation Quite possibly the worst company I have EVER come across. And to think they are dealing with expectant stressed and hormonal mothers potentially AVOID!!!!!!!!’n

I tried to leave a review on their website but they accept just good reviews bad reviews they won't publish it Stupidly I bought a stroller few weeks ago and I request a cancellation before the order was delivered and no one cared at all they got back after it was deliverd. Now about the return they have just send the address of their store nothing else . No return label or any other information . Rubbish costumer services very unprofessional and rude I wouldn't use them again and definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone

I ordered a cot. It was faulty with numerous scratches and dents. They told me it was paint work. Asked for a refund and they charged me £35 to return the items. The delivery for the items were missed twice. I called every day for the last 2 weeks to try and get it resolved but was mugged off every time. I made a formal complaint and and awaiting a response before I take it to the online sales ombudsman. This company is the worst I have ever come across. Products are rubbish. Staff are rude and have no customer service training whatsoever. Stay away from this company. Items you see online are not what you receive and then they will try and mug you off. Know your rights and do not allow them to take advantage. I will NEVER EVER be purchasing from them or allow anyone I know to do so.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Took payment for items that were obviously not in stock. Back and forth emails for a week. I agreed for them to send me replacement items for the products not in stock - for them to not have these products either. Promised delivery dates were never met and then finally got an email saying products would arrive on 14th May. Today is the 2nd April. If the items are NOT in stock in your warehouse, then do not allow people to take payments for those items on your website. Have now been told to wait possibly 30 days for my refund after cancelling the order. First and very last time I use this company.

Worst company who have no concept of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Supplied with faulty goods, met with a SHOCKING customer service and an even more inept, rude and bullying manager. Luckily I paid by credit card otherwise I wouldn't have received a refund. I have lost return postage costs of £36 because they do not acknowledge the law. STAY AWAY

Got sent a used potty! Ordered a bumbo potty for my little one, it arrived in a damaged box, stinking of urine, with clear wipe marks. Absolutely disgusted that they sent us a used potty. Sent an email to complain about this with all the information in and just sent back an automated email back asking for information and pictures already sent in my origional email! Just feel like they are trying to put you off complaining and has just angered me even more. To add to this I phone them today, they are the rudest people I have ever spoken to! Even said I was lying! Dreadful customer service. To add to this even further I have put a review on trust pilot and they have done nothing but try to get it removed, this time they have reported me for inappropriate offensive language in my review (same review as above) obviously hoping i will not chase this up and it will continue to be suspended! I think they should try to put the energy into preventing the bad reviews by improving their appalling customer service rather than trying to prevent the customers from putting honest reviews up.

Disappointing Experience with Online4Baby - Buyer Beware I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Online4Baby that I feel compelled to share. I purchased a travel system from their online store, expecting a quality product from a reputable brand. To my dismay, the product I received was far from what was advertised. It was a fake, and the quality was shockingly low, not suitable for my price. I faced a series of frustrating obstacles when I attempted to rectify the situation by returning the product. The customer service was horrendous; my inquiries and complaints were met with a deafening silence for a prolonged period. Their team's lack of response and assistance was unprofessional and disheartening. Ultimately, I had no choice but to seek a refund through PayPal, a process that added further inconvenience to an already stressful situation. To add insult to injury, I had to bear the cost of the return shipping, which amounted to £47 - an expense I feel was unjust given the return circumstances. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Online4Baby. The combination of receiving a counterfeit product, the abysmal customer service, and the additional costs incurred make it an option best avoided. For anyone considering purchasing from them, I advise looking elsewhere to avoid the hassle and disappointment I experienced.

Thieves taking advantage of parents in hard times. Ordered crib in May never received the order and it's the end of July. No answers from them and making it imposible to get a refund from paypal. Plus their offers are a total, scam, they advertise products on discount and then try to offer you something in exchange because they don't have those products and they will never do. If you refuse you will never get your money or a product. This site is a scam overall and shouldn't be allowed to exist. I hope more people report them so they can be shut down.

SEND YOU FAULTY ITEMS THEN WILL CHARGE YOU FOR RETURNS. Customer service initially seemed helpful when they promptly investigated a problem I had with my travel cot, as the mattress seemed to have missing padding, after contacting the manufacturer they advised to allow 7 days for the mattress to fluff up, which I allowed with no improvement. I have now tried to arrange a return and keep going in circles with customer service with the same copy and paste e-mail advising me to arrange my own courier service or to book their own DPD service for £15, for a faulty item. There is also NO customer phone line despite their website saying that they do. AVOID. I’m just lucky I didn’t spend too much money here, buy from reputable stores such as Argos where returns are hassle free.
