I booked a flight from Munich to Athens through Opodo. During the booking process, I was placed into an Opodo Prime membership in a way that was not clear or transparent. I did not intentionally sign up for Prime and did not knowingly agree to a paid membership. A few days later, €119.99 was deducted from my account for the Prime membership. There was no clear separate sign-up process, and I would never have chosen this membership intentionally. When I contacted customer support through chat, my issue was not resolved and I was told to call instead. This experience felt misleading, frustrating, and unfair. I requested immediate cancellation of the Prime membership and a full refund.

Spent 90 minutes waiting in a queue then tried canceling a subscription my partner hadn't knowingly had for the 2nd year, never sign up to these con artists

with opodo everything goes wrong. If you pay for prime membership once, they will automatically renew and the only way to cancel renew is to call to a phone number in UK, which is ridiculous. Instead of resolving it with a simple click. Also the attempt to change our flights with them was a horror we will never forget. We spent calling incredible hours with them, completely incompetent stuff, sending us links to pay which were not working, promising someone will get back to us and noone contacted us anymore. It was a nightmare. I cancelled the bank card which was subscribed to this account and rather pay 15 eur for new card issuance than spend another hours with these incompetent people trying to cancell my membership.

They give options like „cancel“ the flight but in Reality it‘s Not possible. They just don’t charge you for contacting them. I was a Prime member who bought many flights

Opodo will lock your card to keep debiting it and will prevent you from cancelling your subscription. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Opodo. Last year, £99 was debited from my account without my clear understanding that I had entered into any active subscription. I initially ignored it, assuming it may have been linked to registering on their platform. However, this year, another £99 debit was attempted — despite the fact that I have never actively used their service. What is most concerning is how difficult it is to cancel. The subscription does not appear in Apple subscriptions, so it cannot be cancelled there. Attempting to block the payment through my banking app was also unsuccessful, as the transaction is structured to prevent straightforward cancellation or blocking. The only advertised way to cancel is by calling them — yet reaching a human representative is nearly impossible. Calls are routed through automated systems with no clear resolution, making it extremely frustrating to stop further payments. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and concern over my financial security. I strongly advise others to carefully review any terms before signing up and to monitor their bank statements closely. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Take care about Opodo Prime I bought aAir Tahiti flight ticket with them and the time of the flight was changed to 2 1/2 hrs earlier but Opodo never informed me and because of that I missed a flight. For luck other company had available seats and I had to buy a new ticket. I coul missed 3 international flights because of that. I sent 2 emails with no answers. Don't trust Opodo !!!

I have multiple bad experiences but summary is that the Opodo prime was a scam since I didn’t want to pay for it but I was charged 100€ for it and even thought as a prime member never got responded back on 3 mails. I have used this website multiple times but this was last time. Over two hours waiting on phone in the weekend to solve my problem with name correction on flight ticket and after week of waiting and daily calling and mailing I got mail back that I should check this problem with airline. What a service I don’t recommend anyone to use Opodo anymore it’s just a scam and especially BEWARE of their prime policy otherwise u get charged for the worst service for a lot .

Do not subscribe to Opodo Prime. In my experience, it’s a misleading service with little to no real benefit. The advertised “discounts” are often not genuine — if you check the same flight directly on the airline’s website, prices are usually the same or even lower. The most concerning issue is how refunds are handled. When an airline cancels a flight and issues a full refund, Opodo does not return the full amount to the customer. They retain a €15 “service fee” and you also lose any extra services you paid for. So even when you are entitled to a full refund, you still end up losing money. Very disappointing and hard to justify.

Dreadful service, spiralling costs while I tried to book a flight, £450 rising to £1,120! Result I responded to their email, advising this "super deal" by cancelling all further "Prime" subscriptions and severing all connections with the company. 3 weeks later they still took a £99.99 premium....they have no publicised email address, and customer service is heavily concealed. I finally found a number, and after a 40 min wait spoke to a man working from home in Cairo. He said cancelling my premium was not possible but he could refund half if the company kept me on the books. Absolutely not! On receipt of his email cancelling me altogether Opodo then went on the charge me the full £99.99. Credit card dispute now taken up by my bank. Do NOT touch this company with a bargepole!

What a joke, I had a voucher to use from Go Compare and thought I would sign up to free trial of Prime and get a great deal,,, WRONG !!!!!! I did not know E dreams was part of OPODO, next day £99 comes out of my account, I call to cancel this and they say, you can get the difference back to the price of the normal flight which was £43 refund.... this then made the flight £135 !! on easy jet the flight is only £85... ABSOLUTE FUMING !!!! after being on phone for an hour they still refusing to refund me .... THEY ARE ROBBERS !!!

I booked a flight and it was automatically cancelled by Opodo because they didnt matched my payment with the airline on time. By accident I found that my flight was gone, out of the airlines app while Opodo still shows as 'confirmed'. They were not willing to recover thier mistake. You better avoid Opodo as the service is really poor.

This company profits off people who do not actively opt out of the default option of prime membership when buying flights on their website. After 40 minutes of waiting for an agent (‘VIP’ customer service), an agent convinced me over and over again of the benefits. I had to repeatedly say no before I managed to be refunded 50% only

Absolutely disgusting company. Took 100 pound from my account for the second time although i cancelled a year ago and as they can clearly see i have not used there services. Rude on the phone Have disputed with my bank. Do not use this company
