Booked through Opodo. Great deal, but it cost me 2x 9.99 for a membership that I cancelled. The cancellation takes 2 months to complete, hence the 2x payments. No saving at all. Book direct is my advice, 3rd party bookings don't save u any money. Hidden costs. Lesson learned

I was really worried when my account suddenly got restricted right after I made a withdrawal. It felt like I was stuck and couldn’t access my funds. I was panicking, but then I contacted customer support. Mrs. Mercy and her team responded quickly and handled everything professionally. Thanks to them, I was able to recover my funds and get back to trading smoothly

I clicked on the subscription by mistake while buying a 5ticket and it was the worst mistake ever. I called them to cancel and refund telling them i would pay the 20 pounds of discount i got (their discounts are actually not good) and they didnt want to refund. So i accepted that i will have a subscription that i wont be using but i told them to cancel it for me. Next year, it turns out they didnt cancel in our call and charge me another 80 euros. I have been trying to contact them via email because i am in another country and i cant call without paying extra, and it's impossible to contact them, either their emails are fake or they dont reply. I waited to write this review few weeks to see if they solved something,no success. Never have i been so angry with a company before.

I requested invoice when booking my flights because it was business trip. I provided the company name and the VAT ID. Not only I did not get the invoice but when I requested it later it was sent to my name only not company. When I asked to change it they said it's not possible.

I’ve heard of this happening to others too, and it’s honestly terrifying. But when I reached out for support, Mrs. Mercy and her team didn’t let me down. Cancelled before the free trial ran out but the subscription was automatically renewed and money was taken from my account anyway. I can see on the website that my subscription was cancelled. I explained this to the operator but she insisted that I would have no choice but to pay for the year now, with no explanation, but I could get a discount of 4.99 instead of 9.99 a month. Still waiting for a reasonable explanation. A friend much more knowledgeable than I is now reading through the T&C's - will report back with his findings and offer advice to others in the same position.

The draw is they offer cheaper deals. The reality is by time you've paid to be a member the price is the same or more. Ryanair don't recognise tickets purchased through a 3rd party so you have to either go through verification which is fairly impossible or pay £55 per ticket at the airport. So more expense. Opodo declare you can cancel and get refunds on any tickets. Not so with Ryanair. It is a complete con, go direct to the carrier and buy from them. One star is one too many

Their customer service staff outright lie to subscribers. I subscribed in 2024 but did not want my subscription to renew. I called the day after and the person said he could NOT cancel until closer to renewal date. We had quite an argument about it but he flat out refused. He said I would get a notice a few days before renewal and I could cancel then. I then forgot about it to be honest until they took another years subscription on 27 May. Since then I have called THREE times to the UK number and been promised the refund and cancellation followed by…..nothing. Each staff member swore I would get it within 24/48/72 hours!!! Do not ever deal with them.

Terrible customer service, awful experience. I paid for car hire and insurance for a week. On arrived they refused to issue me the car I hire saying that on my bank card my first name has only first initial not full name, despite the fact that my surname was spelled fully. When contacting customer service for support and refund they said there is nothing they can do despite the fact the car was not even given to me and had to spend triple by walking and hiring from other company.

It is a terrible experience, they make you to subscribe for the prime and after you cant get rid of them. all the deals are more expensive then other agents, and they dont give you a chance getting a refund. When talking to agents they just transfer calls to another agents so you have to explain your situation few times. And the only option they offer you is a voucher that has limited conditios and if that doesnt suit you they dont care. If you already have a subscribtion make sure you cancel it on time if not going to use it as they dont send any reminders.And if you dont have the prime better choose another agency. Never had such problems anywhere else.

I booked plane tickets through Opodo a few months ago and specifically paid extra for their cancellation insurance, knowing there was a chance I might not be able to travel. Unfortunately, I was right — I couldn’t board the flight. When I tried to cancel, Opodo flat-out refused to refund me, claiming the cancellation policy didn’t apply, despite my insurance purchase. It took FOREVER to get someone on the phone. The support was robotic and dismissive, and I was left with zero refund. This is predatory behavior — selling a product (insurance) that seems to be intentionally vague and ultimately useless, and then offering no support when you try to use it. Do not trust Opodo’s insurance options. Do not trust their “customer service.” Do not trust their platform. I’ve lost my money, and I want others to avoid the same trap. AVOID OPODO. Book directly with airlines or use reputable platforms that actually respect their customers.
