This company profits off people who do not actively opt out of the default option of prime membership when buying flights on their website. After 40 minutes of waiting for an agent (‘VIP’ customer service), an agent convinced me over and over again of the benefits. I had to repeatedly say no before I managed to be refunded 50% only

Absolutely disgusting company. Took 100 pound from my account for the second time although i cancelled a year ago and as they can clearly see i have not used there services. Rude on the phone Have disputed with my bank. Do not use this company

Very disappointing experience. Fifteen days after buying my ticket, £100 was deducted from my account for a “subscription renewal” I never signed up, authorized or requested any subscription. I had to block my card and make a long international call to resolve it. Only £50 was refunded, and £45 was given as credit to use within six months, which is unfair since I never agreed to any subscription. This caused unnecessary stress, wasted time and financial inconvenience. Customers should not have to monitor their accounts for unauthorized subscriptions after simply purchasing a ticket.

I used opodo in 2024 to book flights. I did not realise I had signed up to an annual £90 fee until I saw an email reminder this year (2026). I filled in their online form to claim back the fee for 2025 as I hadn't used their service - but have had no reply. Be warned! They bombard you with advertising emails so it's easy to miss the renewal email. Plus, our flights in 2024 were delayed and opodo passed on our details to 'Air help'. This sounds benign but actually is a scam as they take 33% of refund claims! It's very easy to claim a refund from the airline directly. In short, I found opodo unhelpful and disingenuous. If you use to book cheaper flights then cancel any subscription immediately afterwards. They're not out to help you but just want to help themselves to your money!

Scammers! They try to make it as hard as possible to cancel your membership. Only calling possible. Plus hung up on me after I wanted to cancel after 20 min waiting. Scandalous!!!

This is the worst ever company I experienced so far. First, I booked one ticket with them. Then they told me I had chosen to be a Prime member, although I had not, and they charged me 120 EUR. I called them several times, and they always replied me I myself had chosen Prime membership!! This is obviously fraud. Regarding the ticket I booked with them, the airline cancelled the flights. It is now more than one month from the cancellation date, and the airline has told me that they have processed the refund, but Opode has not yet refunded me. I wish I could give them 0 stars, they are the worst. Not recommended at all.

Beware of this company and it's subscription renewal!! They run a lot of one year free subscription through various well known companies, then out of the blue without any prior renewal notice they take your money and will not refund you!! Trying to get through to someone in customer services is a nightmare. And when you do, all they want to do is keep offering you deals that you can only except if you keep your subscription. Last year I spent over £4000 on flights and hotels and only used them twice for under £200 because their prices on the Prime subscription are either the same or higher than other well known companies. It's a rip off, they don't even have a wide choice of hotels as other companies do. It will load up a load of different discounts when you log on, then when you have picked a hotel or flight the discounts aren't available. Beware and stay clear of this site/app.

⚠️ OPODO PRIME SCAM ALERT ⚠️ Don't be fooled by the "Best Price Guarantee"! I am a Prime member and I found a cheaper public price on Agoda. Even though I sent screenshots within 24h, Opodo keeps inventing excuses to avoid paying. First they lied about the 24h deadline, then they lied about the discount being "private" (it's a public AGODASALE available to everyone). Now they’ve closed their Twitter support and left Resolver just to hide from complaints. If you don't honor your T&C and refund the 2x difference, I will continue to warn every customer on this page. I booked and paid for a flight through Opodo. When I checked the airline's price, it was over £20 cheaper. I immediately contacted Opodo and asked to cancel my booking with them. They have refunded me £72.50 from a total of the £158.09 I paid to them. Utterly disgusting. I would give them no stars if it was an option

Not recommended. Booking was difficult. It took a number of attempts to get the booking correct as it kept adding people to the trip of 1 (one) person. Data was very slow on reaching me. Wizz Air was more successful at getting the data. Opodo were slow with boarding passes, with updates, with anything. My return trip was a nightmare. I had boarded before I got my boarding pass. I had boarded before I hit trip updates. Regardless, book direct with the Airline and save worry, time, effort, a nervous breakdown. Oh, and how they try to scam you. Opodo Prime is like Amazon Prime of old. Book and they state you asked for it, the Opodo Prime at £99.99 a year. Bloody hell !!! Too late, they have your money.

DO NOT USE!! I hired a car through Opodo, when it came to collect the car the hire company didnt have anything available. Opodo have done everything in their power to not issue a refund despite the hire company confirming they had no vehicle for us!!

Crooks - and wouldn't put it right. I would give negative stars if that was possible. I got a deal on a Prime membership in July 2025 (£19.99 plus a £45 flight voucher). Unbenownst to me, they didn't take the payment. They say my bank declined the payment and that they sent an email to me requesting an alternative payment. Not the case. The card was used with them before and after without issue, and I received NO emails from them. They did send the voucher, so I thought my membership was in place. Turns out months later that the voucher was also duff and didn't work. Fast forward to December 2025, and I'm booking a flight with them. I now get charged £99.99 for Prime membership I thought I already had. It's non-refundable and leaving me £125 out of pocket (discounted membership and voucher) and they were completely unwilling to honour the original agreement or to show ANY gesture of goodwill. Adding insult to injury, they confirmed they had disabled autorenewal for me, so my Prime membership would then run until July 2026!!!!!! So it was in place!!! Unbelievable. If I hadn't twigged, they wouldn't just have robbed me of the £125, but would also have only provided a membership for 7 instead of 12 months. It's clear their systems had a problem. And I ended up paying for their mistake. I will never use them again. Absolutely atrocious customer service.

They took thousand of pounds from me for a booking and provided me all the confirmation needed. Money left my account as expected. On arrival, no hotel room, no booking, no cancellation notice. Been fighting for hours to get it sorted. All I get is promises of call backs but nothing happens. Had to find another few thousand pounds to book alternative last minute accommodation. Now I have to pursue with my bank as a fraudulent transaction.

PLEAE BE AWARE OPODO OPERATE A SCAM TO GET YOU TO SUBSCRIBE TO PRIME MEMBERSHIP. They sign you up then you are unable to turn off auto-renew. After 12 months they will take a further £79.99 from your account whether you want them to or not. They will trick you into signing up for another 12 months at a reduced rate. BUT STILL THEY DONT TURN OFF AUTO-RENEW. Be aware of this. I have communicated verbally by phone, by email and by complaint to ensure auto-renew is disabled, but every year they take £79.99 from my account and tell me its non refundable. I have had this issue for 4 years. I dont want to be a customer but they keep taking my money. I have sent them a copy of an email that explicitly states I do not want to be a Customer and not to auto-renew my account, but every year they continue to take my money. A VERY DISHONNEST company. I am looking to take legal action and get the Press interested. BAD BEHAVIOUR from Opodo. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY! If we all complain then they will change their dishonest behaviour. Please share your experience of this too

I booked a flight and with knowing had had subscribed at £99 a year.i did all I could to get out of it but they said it was to late for refund.all they could do was offer £99 off my next flight,im not a regular flyer.i thought they had unsubscibed me but I have just been billed again ! They are a scam !
