“I only had a mild prescription of roughly -1.5 in both eyes but i was getting migraines because I did not wear glasses except for distance activities. I went for the cheapest proceedure at ?395 an eye and even got ?150 discount due to the ambassador scheme so paid ?640. I intend to refer my girlfriend and the rate has gone up so i get another ?250 back if she goes ahead bringing the total to ?390 in total. For that price I am very glad I did it. I am getting a mild halos when driving at night but these are getting less now and should reduce much more by 6 months. Apprently this can happen with the more expensive treatment anyway. Overall very happy.”

Friends seem to be put off by the thought of the procedure, but it is over very quickly. Only thing I have to do now is wear glasses - ready readers - for close work. I wore varifocals before, so having to put reading glasses on and off is taking some getting used to, but at my age (60) that's pretty good.
