“When I first thought about surgery I was a little apprehensive but the whole experience has been fantastic. The team at the Birmingham clinic have been great and now, four weeks down the line, not only have I lost the glasses but I have the best eyesight I have ever had. I would recommend laser treatment to anyone and it doesn't hurt one bit...... Honestly!”

“I was wary about the success of the operation at the begining but I am very pleased with the results as I noticed a huge improvement within hours of having laser eye surgery. Would absolutely recommend this proceedure to anyone with eye sight difficulty.”

“Everything about my laser eye surgery experience was great. After the first consultation and tests, and double checking the test results on the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly. I was a little nervous about going through with it, but am so glad I did. I can see clearly without glasses for the first time in over ten years. I'm hoping to work with animals, and my decision to have surgery was made because of practicality issues; working in dusty or wet environments with animals made my glasses fog up, get covered with dust, or streaked with rain. Now, I can see clearly wherever I am, and would definitely recommend eye surgery to anyone considering it. It's the best decision I've made in my life so far, and really have been a life-changing experience!”

“Its clear why Opitical Express is the leading Laser Eye Clinic in the UK. I came in very scepital as I had wanted this treatment 7 years ago. I was told by another Laser Surgery Company 7yrs ago that my cornia was too thin and that technology couldnt help me at present. On visiting I was told that my cornia is thin however the New wave technology available will suit me perfectly and i was going to be ok to proceed. The joy I felt was emense and before the week was out I had booked myself in for the operation. OPeration over with 3 weeks down the line and I am so very pleased with the results. As a kickboxer its something that I wished was available sooner but happy to now at last be able to see clearly. I would recommend this treatment to anyone. My sight over the next 6 months should get better as my proceedure was more complecated. I am fully satisfied with my eyes now and things can only get better. Thanks Opitical Express”

“AMAZED WITH LASER EYE SURGERY STILL CAN NOT BELIEVE I'VE HAD IT DONE AND I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY DISCOMFORT REALLY THINK I HAVE BEEN LUCKY WITH MY EYES BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN FINE PART FROM OCCASSIONAL DRY EYE BUT PART FROM THAT IT HAS BEEN GREAT VERY HAPPY”

“I wish I had the surgery years ago, its so nice to wake up and not scurry around for my glasses in the morning. I feellike jogging more outside than I used to as with the English weather my specs would get steamed up and I would give up. Overall I would highly recommend this surgery to anyone.”

“After sleeping for an hour or two after the surgery I woke up with no discomfort and most importantly my vision was perfect. After the first week of using the drops I noticed my vision improving and at my first week check up I was told that I had better than 20/20 in both eyes. To be able to wake up in the morning with perfect vision is life changing - gone are the days of searching frantically for my glasses first thing in the morning! I really don't know myself, my only regret is that I didn't get it done years ago. Thank you Optical Express”

“I always hated wearing glasses and contact lenses left my eyes dry and uncomfortable after only a few hours. I decided to go for a consultation and im so glad i did! I was extremely nervous about the surgery but it was a doddle! The staff really put me at ease. Laser eye surgery has improved my confidence and i can now do things i wouldnt have done before! All the staff have been wonderful from the the first consultation to the follow up appointments. I would definately recommend the procedure and Optical Express to anyone considering it!”

“the surgery itself was not as bad as I had expected, and if I needed toI would definitely do it again. Since the surgery my vision has is now better without glasses than it was when I had to wear glasses. the check ups I've had have been very informative and have put any worries I might have had to rest. Extremely satisified with all my care at optical express.”

“I had my procedure on the 21 December 2012, everything went very well. the staff at Shaftesbury Lane are excellent. They explained everything thoroughly, very friendly and look after you throughout the whole process. The aftercare has been very good. I am very pleased with the whole process and wish I had done it sooner. The only downside is the waiting, however they do warn you before hand so be prepared.”

“This was my second surgery, and it is a painful experience, however the surgeon took on board the difficulties with haze that I experienced and cleaned my eyes, which has made everything much clearer and has transformed my sight. I have also had some dry eyes, but have been treated well and now am benefitting from this experience, now having minimal dryness. after only 3 months, I am extremely pleased, and glad I have gone through with this. I have fed back before and raised that there should be a bit more information provided about what can happen, in a clearer way from the assistants.”
