“The service I have received has been professional, of a high standard and I have been treated very well throughout my care. I am so glad I chose Optical Express with this very important surgery. “The first 4 hours after the op was uncomfortable, stinging pain in both eyes with watering and a streaming nose. Cloudy, blurred vision. Then, exactly four hours after, it suddenly stopped completely. Starbursts, glare around bright lights did hurt initially. Now, four weeks later, still there but less severe and no pain unless you stare too long towards a light. Position yourself so you do not look up at a person during a conversation and wear sunglasses as much as possible. I wore a baseball cap to work to stop overhead lights bothering me and closed the office curtains so |I did not look at bright light. Driving was and still is an issue. I avoid night driving but I have seen an improvement. Long vision is amazing. I would recommend this treatment. It's well worth a few hours of stinging and a few weeks of glare!”

“I Always not happy with my glasses, so after seen on t.v. and adverts i finally put my self go ahead with laser eye treatment. after a treatment it chage my life , I can see a normal, seems like everything normal, only thing it worry about me is effect of outcome in future, well if everyone can do it why i Can't? i would like to thank to the optical express and its staff , I would reccommend many more of my friend. thank you”

“I always thought that if you were 50 you couldn't have laser eye surgery, but I was wrrong. I love the freedom of perfect sight without contacts and having to use reading glasses sometimes (because of my age!) is a small price to pay for overall perfect vision. It has been a very positive experince and one I would recommend to us oldies!!”

“Having put up with a very low prescription for years (roughly -1) I chose to have lasor correction. I would suggest that even for minor prescriptions this will improve your life, you will be able to see those road signs coming up, make out faces in crowds and not squint so much in general.”

“i went into the clinic feeling blind as a bat, i couldnt see anything without my thick glasses,i wasnt nervous as everything had been carefully explained,after a few pre op tests i was called in for my surgery,i was talked through each step,i felt no pain or discomfort at all during procedure just a small amount of pressure,it took less than ten mins and when i sat up all be it a bit blurry i could see better than with my glasses already!!,the journey home was rather uncomfortable,my eyes felt like they were full of sand,i was advised to go home to sleep for a couple of hours which i did and by the time i woke they felt 80% better,by the next morning they were almost normal just a little sensitive to light,the drops prescribed really helped,two days after surgery i was back to my normal routine and driving,it still amazes me nearly a year on how beautiful things are around me, colours are so different,i read every day,when i couldnt see properly i used to worry i would eventually go blind and now i dont feel like that at all,i admire the world from new eyes,its quite expensive but there are easy payment options,dont let it put you off,it will be the best money you ever spend,thank you everyone at optical express and thanks to my husband for footing the bill!! oh and as for my glasses i dont miss them at all”

“Like most people, I had concerns about laser treatment and all the horror stories of how it can go wrong. On reflection, the advise I received was from people who have no experience of this treatment. I was amazed on so many fronts how good the treatment was. The recovery time was minimal and the results immediate. Almost one year later my only regret was putting off the treatment . The staff were very good and friendly. In total I had a day and a half off work and was driving within 24 hours.”
