“My experience with optical express throughout my laser eye treatment has been fantastic. I have always felt very welcomed and acknowleged within seconds. On the day of my treatment I was fully informed of the procedure and was able to ask any questions however silly I was put very much at ease with the response. I was amazed at how quick the treatment was. I can now enjoy life and appreciate the small things which people who have never worn glasses won't realise- e.g opening the oven and steaming, being able to tell the time when I wake up at night”

“I had my surgery at the end of September, I was terrified but went ahead with it, I was in the room for 15 minutes, there was no pain, only discomfort when the intralase was being done as it a lot of pressure on the eye, the laser itself is a flashing red light for 15 seconds. After 15 minutes I was done, I left the room and my eyes were stinging a lot due to the drops wearing off. I went home to bed for a couple of hours and when I got up I could see great! The next day at my check up I had 20-20 vision.”

“I wanted laser eye surgery for a number of years but i was worried about the surgery, over time I've come across more and more people who have had the surgery with Optical Express and have recommend the treatment to me. Theres nothing at all to worry about, no pain and its over in minutes! I fully recommend Optical Express to anyone considering the treatment!”

“Fantastic to finally be able to see properly after wearing glasses for around 15 years. The surgery although scary was over in minutes and although i was in pain once I got home, after a little sleep i could see and had no pain. Highly reccomend the surgery”

“I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT GOING AHEAD WITH LASER SURGERY BUT FELT REASSURED BY MY APPOINTMENTS AND ADVICE GIVEN. FELT NERVOUS AGAIN WHEN I HAD TO SIGN THE CONSENT FORM AS A LONG LIST OF NEW POTENTIAL PROBLEMS. HOWEVER, WENT AHEAD. I FOUND THE PROCEDURE MORE UNCOMFORTABLE THAN I WAS EXPECTING AND HAD TO GO TO SLEEP FOR THE REST OF THE DAY AS MY EYES WERE SO STINGING AND GRITTY, BUT THE NEXT MORNING I COULD READ NUMBER PLATES AND MY EYES FELT MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE AND CONTINUED TO IMPROVE. THEY WERE MUCH LESS DRY THAN I WAS EXPECTING TOO. I'M GLAD I DID IT. I NOW HAVE BETTER THAN 20:20 VISION AND IT'S CHANGED MY LIFE.”

“My initial treatment with optical express was treated extremely proffessionally and the quality of care that I recieved was very good. I required a small corrective procedure that was treated in the same manner. All members of staff have acted professionally and apart from sometimes having to wait a while for my appointment, I have been very impressed. Since my treatment I've tried to spread the word as best as I can and have even given a patients perspective for the Southampton University opthamalmic society. Overall it has been a fantastic and life changing experience.”

“I didn't realise how poor my vision was before this, but I went for the Wavefront Intralase treatment, and the change is amazing! I can now go back and do another Bungee Jump and I'll be able to see everything! It's changed my life, I'd recommend it to anyone!”

“It has transformed my life, I no longer have to worry about putting in contacts, wearing glasses. I can stay at friends houses overnight on the spur of the moment, rather than having to plan and bring contact lens solution etc. Optical Express have been extremly professional and I felt confident the whole way through the process from initial consultation to surgery to follow up appointments.”

“I feel that I have been cared for from the moment I came into the store asking about surgery. It has been amazing being able to do simple things without wearing my glasses! Vision in my left eye is so good the near 20/20 vision in my right one looks odd!”
