“still hard to believe that I can see without glasses or lenses. Before this eye surgery, I was not able to see anything farer than 30 cm and now I can drive, go to the swimming pool , play rubgy without fear to lose my lenses. To wake up mornings and see everything clearly with no need to grab my glasses, it is priceless.”

“After the eye surgery my vision was very poor for over 1 week, day 2 and 3 were the worst in terms of pain and discomfort. Now 18 days on I can see real improvements and so glad I went ahead with the enhancement.”

“I love being able to get up and see straight away! There is no hassle anymore with lenses morning and night. It has made a real difference to me. I always hated wearing glasses so struggled with lenses for years and wore them much longer than i was supposed to. Very happy with the results, although have to say was a little unprepared with the pain on the day of the surgery!”

“Everything has gone very well to date, being a sportsman my vision is very important to me, as things stand i am well on the way to the vision that i dreamed of. Operation was a tad scary but painless, after was uncomfortable but....... if you do as you are told and not cut corners the healing process is easy.”

“Having laser eye surgery has been the best decision I have made. The staff at Optical Express have been fantastic. Any worries I had have been put to rest and I felt completely at ease during the procedure as I knew exactly what to expect. “I am in HM Forces and I struggled with seeing targets during range days etc. With an upcoming tour of Afghanistan, I felt I had to get laser eye surgery to fix them. I went for a consultation on a Monday and 3 days later I was having the surgery. Within 24 hours, my eyesight was perfect. I am now waiting for the next range day where I have no doubt I'll be dropping the targets with my brand new 20/20 eyesight. Fantastic treatment that I'd recommend to anyone who has difficulty with there sight. Money well spent.”

“Positives - The staff are friendly and helpful and generous with their information and assistance. The surroundings are pleasant. The processes are fairly speedy. Negatives - the questionnaires are too long winded and the computers (keyboard and mouse) need to be updated as they are worn and cumbersome!”

“surgery was painless - no needles! just eye drops then a light shining in your eye . afterwards was not painful but uncomfortable due to constant watering but go to sleep and then a lot better after a few hours... after a couple of days no issues from operation. eyes were occassionally dry but now hardly use the eye drops. all good so far (1mth since surgery)”

“i found the experince great ,eye sight is now prefect ,i would do it again .i have also recommed it to my family members which will be looking in to it soon .the staff are great and very friendly [dave] from dundrum ,i am very greatfull for all the aftercare help .”

“Had surgery done 3 months ago,, now no glasses for reading, computer etc,, great bonus,,, although distance vision and night vision not as good now,, the trade off to No Glasses is well worth it...for job, recreation and general life,,, no glasses is well worth it..still suffer a little with glare and halos, but it it getting better gradually..am i glad i had my eyes done? Yes....would do it again no problem!”

“I was very nervous before the treatment, but the nurse was very kind and helpful and understanding. I did experience a lot of pain the first few days but that subsided and my eyesight has improved week on week. I love not wearing glasses or contact lenses and am so happy that I had lazer eye. I wish I had done this much sooner. My eyesight is better than before.”

“I recommend laser eye surgery completely. Pain free from about 5 hours afterwards (although I was very uncomfortable and upset immediately after the surgery!) The surgery itself is very quick and pain free.”
