“It was a big decision to go ahead with the treatment but it turned out to be 100% the right thing to do. Not having to wear glasses or contact lenses has made a big difference in my day-to-day life and my vision is better than 20/20 without them.”

“when i had glasses i couldnt see the difference between shampoo and conditioners in the shower. little things that people who dont wear glasses wont understand, for example putting on make up, snorkelling or being able to walk in the rain without the need for windscreen wipers attached to your glasses. glasses also change the way eyes look, my eyes now look larger and i look forwards instead of towards the ground.”

“when coming to optical express i was quite nervous about the whole percdure, the staff were very friendly, helpful and accomadating. When i came to have surgery there was an improvement quite soon after i had it done, and over the following day my vision got better an better. i am amazed at the whole precedure. i would definately recommend having lazer eye surgery it has changed my life for the better”

“I admit I am frightened when it comes to eyes and touching them. Since December 2011 I experienced severe headaches. I've tried everything from changing frames to wearing contacts. Nothing helped. A colleague then persuaded me to go to Optical Express. Finally I had my eyes done and I should have done it years ago. One advise, don't hesitate, go for it. It does change your life. Ben.”

“My overall experience has been very good. The surgery was painfree and simple, no after effects at all. My vision was improved immediately. I have had some problems with ghosting but am assured that is just dryness and will disappear in time. I am disappointed with your appointment system. My reminder texts have always been at a different time to that booked!!”

“I found the whole process, from initial consultation to the actual procedure very easy. I thought that all the tests carried out were very thorough and the fact that more tests were done just prior to the op really gave me comfort. My surgeon was very informative and gave me confidence. Follow up appointments were all carried out very efficiently and I was given more lubricating drops and an ointment to help the dryness - especially at night. I would recommend the procedure to anyone and in fact my daughter is now going to have a consultation now that I have been the guinea pig.”

“Great staff, always helpful and knowledgable. Also, my mind still hasn't got used to not wearing glasses and it's hilarious when I go to push glasses up onto my nose, and then have to pretend to 'rub' my cheek instead! Can't wait to do sports again without the hassle of steaming or slipping glasses.”

“I'd thought about laser surgery for a number of years, but being a bit squeamish and having a vivid imagination I put off having the surgery done. During the summer I spoke to a number of colleagues and friends who recommended it - even one very scared colleague! I took the plunge and after the first 12 hours haven't regretted it one bit. My recommendation would be to go for it!”

“The procedure itself was very easy, I couldn't believe how quick it was, and the staff were extremely conforting and reassuring. When the numbing drops wore off my eyes felt very raw and uncomfortable which was to be expected, by that night they had much imporved and the next day I felt fine apart from my eyes feeling dry. I was very happy that I had the laser surgery done, I have no regrets, and the aftercare service has been very good.”

“THE SURGERY I FOUND TO BE QUITE STRESSFUL, AND THE RECOVERY PERIOD OF ABOUT 12 HOURS AFRER WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. HOWEVER THE FOLLOWING DAY MY VISION WAS CLEAR AND IT WAS LIKE SEEING IN HD. I LOVE NOT NEEDEDING MY GLASSES AND NOT HAVEING A RED LINE ON THE BVRIDGE OF MY NOSE. gREAT SERVICES AND COMPETITIVE PRICE :)”

“I was recommended to go for the top line proceedure and it was definitely the way to go. vision is amazing. my sight was so poor i could not identify faces from 10 feet away with contacts or glasses and my eyes were only mildly bad apparently. Recommend laser surgery to everyone. the proceedure is nothing like you watch on the videos. it is quick, painless and you have no idea what is going on because of the anithestic. amazing!”

“lasek is extrememly painful, I wish I was made aware of this as I thought I was having lasik until the day of surgery. It wasn't what I was expecting, it's extremely painful and slow healing, however- my eyesight improves daily and I'm glad I had it done”
