“From consulation through to the surgery then aftercare the optical express team have been brilliant. Cant believe how much I can now see that I never realised I couldn't when wearing contacts/glasses. Its the best thing I have ever done and would recommend optical express to anyone considering laser eye surgery. Staff are always willing to help and are friendly. Surgery was quick and not too much discomfort.”

“It has been a good experience with amazing rezults and I would recommend laser eye surgery to everybody. Not only it brought a change to my life but because I am a keen Motorbike rider the laser eye surgery results made the riding experience a lot more fun and enjoyable in all weather conditions, day or night.”

“best thing I have ever done, I wish that I had done it much sooner. I am still amazed, a month later, how good my vision is, much better than I ever expected. I will be recommending the surgery to everyone, the after care I have recieved is fantastic. Thank you so much.”

“I have gone from being glasses dependant and wearing corrective lenses for 30 years to being able to see perfectly without any discomfort or pain. This is a procedure I will recommend to everyone I know who wears glasses or lenses.”

“Expericence was very good, all staff were very helpful and i would have no trouble in reccommending the surgery to anyone else. I would suggest that the patients are told in more detail about the discomfort that they will have in the folllowing 4-5 hours after the surgery becasue from my experience i was unaware of the amount of discomfort i would have, but overalll an good experience.”

“I cannot believe the difference to be able to get up and without looking for my glasses or worried have I my contacts with me. It's brillant to go walking without needind a back up plan. Pity I didn't do it years ago its louuvely to see my son's faces in tha am without a haze around them.”

“It's something I had only ever dreamed about to be able to get my eyes fixed! I never found out any more thinking that I probably would't be suitable but going for that first consultation was the best thing I did because I was indeed suitable for having laser surgery and I am so pleased with the result. I feel its changed my life and whenever I go dashing off I don't have to worry about taking my glasses.”

“Having worn glasses for more than 14 years, it has been very liberating to now know that I don't have to use them to look at the alarm clock every morning! It is relly a sense of freedom after being bound for ages - and the quality of are of the friendliness of staff and the comforting, humourous surgeon made this eperience more than worth it! I thank OE for my improved quality of life and would definitely recommend them my family and friends! This is easily one of the greatest Christmas gifts for me! Thank you once again, OE!”

“I recommend the procedure to all. It has made a great difference to my lifestyle, i no longer have to worry about wearing glasses or lenses on holiday/during flights. I do not have to worry about the same during social events, long days at work or when doing other strenuous activities. I recommend this procedure to all as it does change your life for the better.”

“Having laser surgery was something I had wanted to do for a while, but I felt that I always had other priorities for the money. As I'm 40, I felt it was now or never. I was very nervous before the surgery, but all staff in Edinburgh put me at ease. Jamie from Kirkcaldy store even phoned me 2 days before to wish me luck as he knew I was nervous. There was no pain whatsoever during the procedure. The procedure only lasting 15 mintues in total, was not what I expected and I would do it over again. There is slight discomfort afterwards and it does feel like grit in your eyes, but this does pass and after a sleep you feel much better. After a month, my vision is great and I can honestly say that it was well worth it. The after care is also excellent and Jennifer makes sure that I am using the drops when I should. I would recommend Optical Express and I look forward to many years of vision without glasses.”

“on my first day after my laser eye surgery when i woke up i could see to tell the time and the following days just got better and better i was seeing way more than i thought possible its sooo awesome!! i wish i could express more how it feels to finally see what ive been missing all these years but it can't be put into words.”

“Excellent service by all the staff from initial consultation to final checkup. Initially uncomfortable but not unbearable but within 4 hours able to move around the house. The final result was well worth the initial discomfort. I was able to drive the day following surgery and able to return to work on a computer.”
