“I am 49 year old female who has had to wear glasses since I was 7 years old. My prescription was right eye 3.75 with an astigmatism and 4.25 left eye. After years of considering having laser eye surgery I underwent treatment in August 2012, I am absolutely delighted with the result and wish I had had the confidence to come along years ago. I have received excellent quality of service from start to finish, it has been the best decision I have ever made.”

“I opted to go ahead with laser eye surgery after the birth of my son. I didn't want to have to worry about glasses when playing with him or watching him in the future at school sports day! I opted to choose optical express as they were offering the latest treatments. My experience on the day of the surgery was not quite what I expected and was quite an uncomfortable experience especially when the suction was applied to my eyes. I woke up the next morning with great vision in my right eye but blurred and double vision in my left eye. I was very worried, and when I went for my check up in Cambridge I ended up having to get in the train to see my surgeon in London. It turned out not to be as serious as I feared and over time my vision improved in my left eye. As at my 3 month check-up I have better than 20-20 vision and am glad I had the surgery done, despite the complications on the way. Remember you only have one pair of eyes so don't enter any to decision to have (or not to have) a procedure lightly.”

“Having not to wear glasses for me has been life changing. I hated glasses and was always felt uncomfortable with them. It seemed pointless making your eyes up to look pretty to then cover them with a frame. Very happy I done it just wished I had done it years ago.”

“I originally wouldnbt recognise people within 20yds of me without glasses, swimming was very difficult with the children and i had to ensure they were never out of my vision. What a great change, being able to see the alarm clock, have a shave and do the simple things in life that I always had to wear glasses for. Simple operation, very quick and no after effects.”

“I am so pleased I decided to go ahead with Laser Eye Surgery with Optical Express. I had been thinking about it for some time, and now I've had it done I wonder why I put it off so long. I wish I'd had it done years ago! The surgery is so quick and painless, and the recovery so quick. I would recommend Lase rsurgery with Optical Express to anybody.”

“I had my surgery 3 months ago, and even now I still can't believe how much better my vision is. It's something you can never take for granted! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone that wears glasses or contact lenses!”

“This has been the most amazing thing I have ever done. From day one, everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about this procedure. I had no issues with understanding the process. The actual procedure lasted approximately 5 mins, and I could see straight away. I was surprised at how quickly I could see and experienced very minimal discomfort. After the procedure, I had experienced a headache but nothing a few painkillers and sleep couldn't cure. The whole experinece has been amazing, I have already started recommending optical express to people.”

“I had the eye surgery done about August 2010, I had not been able to see without spectacles for more than twenty years. As I got up from the surgery my eye fell upon some paperwork on the nearby desk and I could READ the small print. It was an unbelievable good result, beyond my expectations certainly. I since have had my eyes tested, as normal, and have been given some very weak spectacles for just reading, and I never wear them unless I want to read a book for a long time. I don't use them for work in the classroom.”

“a few hours pain after having my eyes treated but well worth it. i can see very clear now long distance is very clear. all the times i have visited the opticians ihave been very well looked after and i am very happy with all the staff at cheltenham”

“I was wearing dailies prior to recieving Laser Surgery. My main concern wasn't one of pain or discomfort, it was one of cost. But on the monthly payment plan it only works out a little more than my contact lenses. Staff at Optical Express wear very helpful throughout. I was in and out of surgery within an hour, and could see very clearly from the next day, without any discomfort. My vision is now better than before wearing contact lenses or glasses.”

“i would highly recomend optical express it has been a life changing experience, since the freadom of not having to wear glasses i have enjoyed both sporting activities and socialising much more,life without glasses i would never have felt it possible i waited 5 years and just wich iu had done it earlier.iv been left with a little perscription in the left eye which i hope will correct itself.highly recommend treatment to anyone.”

“From the age of 8 I had been sort sighted, with my vision continually getting worse. When I had eye laser surgery I was amazed that as soon as the procedure had finished, I sat up and was able to see the face of my surgeon without my glasses on, which was amazing! Over the next few days, my vision became clearer, as the initial haze began to clear. I found that when I looked around, I was able to see things in much clearer detail than when I had worn glasses. I couldn't believe how brilliant the results were! Over the last month, I have found that my clear eyesight has helped me to gain confidence as I know I am able to see clearly and don't have to squint or move really close to things when looking at them. It has been an amazing experience and certainly one I would recommend to others for improving your quality of life! Thank you optical express!!”
