About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Pots and frypan are very nice to cook with. They are a good size for my needs. Detachable handles are very secure. The only downside is that the plastic lids do not clip securely onto the saucepans so great care is needed if using a pot to store leftover food in a fridge.”

“Good website and products except it wasn't clear that some goods were not in stock and delayed my order being sent. Only found out when I phoned after waiting 2 weeks. Staff member was very good when I phoned and explained the delay. Overall I'm happy with the products I brought at good pricing just would like a little more communication for delivery times.”

“We purchased a carafan to replace our drs. Installed it and just waiting for another dirt road to test it. We also purchased 3 hatches to replace the vents on our compressor fridge to keep out the dust in our 2 1/2 yo caravan. Big improvement also with the inside van temperature down in Albany area”

“No problem with products purchased but my last order was delivered late in the day, after dark, and left in our driveway between our 2 cars! We have a large verandah where parcels are usually left so I don't know why the parcel was left out in the elements. It was lucky that my husband went to his car for something and spotted it before anyone else did.”

“My door blind arrived without the fit kit "screws and brackets", this took way too many phone calls and e-mails to eventually get the missing parts sent to me, lots of people making callback promises and e-mail replys but thsi never happened.”

“LED Autolamps product is great. However when i ordered there was no mention of zero stock and there was no communication of when it would be sent for nearly 2 weeks. Not a huge issue just would have been nice to know what was going on.”

“I just recently made another purchase from Outback Equipment. I absolutely love the range and the prices of all the products they have to offer. It was made easy working my way through the website to then placing my order. I ordered the Tuff Terrain seat covers x2. They are amazing and fit well, and it's cheap insurance seat covers when out on the tracks and save your seats in the long run. Cheers guy's keep up the good work”
