About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I was looking to solve 2 things on my diesel 7 seat MPV. I searched the internet for Airbag suspension only to find a quality item with after pay at Outback Equipment. Now installed the vehicle fills the spring and it's stopped the deflation occurring overnight. It's a solid spring and is of exceptional quality materials. Air bag man a truly better alternative to genuine and it's costs”

“Easy to fit . Had a little trouble with them folding in but Rang and spoke to outback Equipment Ever so helpful told us what to do. They said at first they are stiff untill they have been moved a bit. Hold the part that's bolted to the car and push the mirror in to the car at the same time . It work so happy.”

“Got my money back, I cancelled the order... I found it deceptive to have an item in stock on your website only to drop ship it and take over a week to travel less than 100km from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. honesty goes a long way. You have lost a customer”

“yeah it is a good store and you can save good money on geniune articles, BUT, be patient as it takes a while to get it. Even dispatch and tracking advise take a while to come through. The delay in information makes you nervous and makes you wonder what the hell is going on. I think a lot of the stuff they have to get in and then repost it? All the time you think thay they will dispatch "next day" - not the case. I dont realy know.”
