About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“said 1-6 days delivery, it took 11 and no one bothered to call and let me know about any delay, I had to call them to find out what was happening with my package, when it did finally arrive it was the wrong part then they would not dispatch the correct part until the wrong was back in their warehouse. Worst experience I have had with an online order. Never again Outback Equipment. This debacle will be talked about around many camps down the track.”

“We've been dealing with Outback Equipment for about the last eight to ten years and have always found the product we want and had delivery in a good time frame. It hasn't mattered if it was for some hot water systems or gas heater the service has been excellent. On the one occasion, during COVID, that a product was out of stock the staff maintained contact so we knew exactly what was happening. We'll continue to deal with Outback Equipment for our 4WD & caravan Equipment needs.”

“The spare tyre cover fits great, although the delviery was on the second cover ordered was quite tardy with the cover apparently not in stock when ordered. The first cover ordered arrived in a couple of days rather as with the second cover, a couple of weeks.”
