About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I followed the instructions for picking up an online order by going in to the shop, and then I was referred to the collection area where there was one other couple waiting. We sat there for over half an hour and were not even acknowledged. Another customer came over and was served immediately. When we questioned it, we were told there were no orders for the 2 of us. Both of us were served by the same young gentleman in the shop. ... This is constructive criticism and a suggestion maybe review your procedures for this process.”

“It needs to come with all the fittings together with a pump. Ended being up being a very expensive way to carry 40 litres. Wouldn’t do it again.”

“Great service, great prices and prompt delivery. Recently my ARK 750 jockey wheel was damages by a tow truck company whilst my camper trailer was being loaded on a truck - my tow vehicle broke down. I rang Outback equipment to confirm if they had stock and an approx delivery window. The team were supper helpful and dispatch the item immediately on receipt of my order. Fantasic supplier who I would highly recommend.”

“Product SKU:520ARRMB should not be labelled as auto combination lamps, rather a combination lamp. It's very sneaky. Similar sites advertise the same, however have also advertise per set on the same page as to avoid confusion. I purchased my second combination lamp from other such site for $20 cheaper than yours and only waited 3 days for delivery rather than 2 weeks. I wish I had known of the other site earlier, I could've saved $120 and 11 days.”

“After receiving my part for my wife’s car and finding out it wouldn’t fit because of holes didn’t line up and couldn’t anchor it properly to the car and I took photos for customer service which informed me that they wouldn’t return it and it’s my cost to post it back for a refund, which after a few heated emails finally agreed, and full refund was made.”
