About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Product knowledge is poor, I had to figure out which spacer I needed to fit these legs listed as vortex to vortex. Unable to help but perfectly happy to fill my email with daily spam

Ordered rhino rack bars for fuso canter at Black Friday sales was told over the phone that they were not in stock (which is fine) and that outback equipment would receive them in a week. Rang back wk of Christmas bars still not in stock and would receive an email with updated delivery time. Waited a week still no email, rang back still no estimated time so cancelled order. Never had an issue before with outback equipment. Totally understand that they are not common and no stock which is not your fault. But to be told outback would receive in a week (waited a month) and I would be notified via email and not happen is the disappointing part.

Terrible terrible terrible. After contacting them 4 times over the space of 3 or 4 weeks. I still don’t have an answer of when my order will be shipped and completed. There was no message in the website explaining a delay in stock arriving. They said the item was in stock. It’s now been 5 weeks since o placed my order and I still have no idea of when I’ll receive my stuff. Buyers beware!

"Reviews help you become a better business"? This survey states... you want my review? well listen to your customers and check your reviews! You could start by having things 'in stock' or communicate with your customers to let them know items are out of stock. Your communication is HORRIBLE! I paid $19 express shipping for my order to arrive 17 days after I placed my order. Your company is an ABSOLUTE JOKE! The reviews speak for itself

I Would not recommend Them ,Outback has Very Slow deliverys ,no communication on deliverys services,As soon as purchase you are bombarded by emails advertising other products, but nothing on the order . ITs Funny I made many other orders on the same day many from over seas companies all arrived within 14 days . the wait its not worth any of their offers .

Absolutely appaled, bought unit and came cracked and not working get ghosted for weeks with no reply then expect me to have a printer to print return labels,would not shop with this company again dodgy as

Unfortunately, the Item took 5 weeks to be delivered. It had to go to New Zealand. However, it had not even left Australia for the first 4 weeks! Purchased 2nd Dec, arrived 9th January.

Ordered on the 6th of Dec as it was stated on the site I would receive it before Christmas. After not receiving it getting close to Christmas I contacted you and was informed that stock was sold out - which wasn't indicated online - nor was I informed of the fact I'd be waiting and likely not get it before Christmas. Really poor form as the reason I went with uou was because it was in stock and available for a Christmas present.

i ordered a dome light sent on the 8/12/2022 was charged on invoice n653116 hasent arrived yet rang outback a week ago guy said will check and let me know nothing yet what know??

Unfortunately I did not have a very good experience with Outback Equipment. My order was placed 4 weeks before Christmas as it was a gift for my son. I received no correspondence or updates concerning my order, so as it got closer to Christmas Day, I contacted your business to find out if I was going to receive it in time. I was told that it had been dispatched that very day ( what a coincidence!) I was also told that it should arrive in time for Christmas Day, which it did not. I could understand if the items had been out of stock or similar but I received no correspondence to inform me of this or any other supply issues. As a result, I did not have this gift for my son for Christmas and was very disappointed about this. I would not recommend Outback Equipment in the future.

Service was very poor. Took 2 weeks to get any notification of tracking. I made 3 phone calls to try find out what was going on before I went on holidays. Each time I called I was told they would have to call me back, never received a call back. In these calls I mentions that I would pick them up if they were at the factory etc. When I finally got onto someone who told me where they were, he said they had been posted 1hr ago. So I then had to organise someone to keep checking around home while I was away. Very bad experience

Would not order from them again placed a order to be told when I rang them a week later to be told it wasn’t in stock for another 3 weeks put out of stock on it in the first place 😡

Worst company to deal with, EVER! They take your money and it’s only when you ring 3 weeks later they tell you it’s in transit but they don’t know where because the tracking number they promised before sale never happened. I ended up cancelling sale and had to lodge a Paypal dispute to get my $500 backs, which still took 6 weeks. I’m convinced they sell stuff they don’t have any stock of, it’s the third and last time for me now. I ordered the same product thru Camp Smart and got it in 3 days and it was cheaper. Camp Smart all the way!!!
